Fire Safety & Emergency Evacuation Awareness Session
As part of its commitment to fostering a safe and secure learning environment, Northwest Institute of Health Sciences organized an informative session on “Fire Safety and Emergency Evacuation” in collaboration with the Department of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHSE), Alliance Healthcare Private Limited.
The session was led by Mr. Kashif Mehmood, OHSE Officer, NWGH, along with Mr. Sikandar Hayat and Mr. Khawar Ali Khan, who provided valuable insights into fire prevention, emergency response, proper use of fire extinguishers, and safe evacuation procedures.
Faculty and staff actively participated in the training, which concluded with a practical mock drill on fire extinguishing and emergency evacuation, enhancing preparedness and reinforcing a culture of safety across the institute.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility—awareness, preparedness, and timely action save lives.
