Convocation Date Announced!

You are hereby notified that the Convocation registration date has been extended up to 15th Dec, 2025.

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU) in Peshawar successfully commemorated Kashmir Black Day by hosting a significant Guest Speaker Session for "Solidarity with Kashmir," an effort organized by the university's student Societies (Art & Literature Society, Debatic & Dramatic Society and Leader & Personality Development Society). Beyond the main academic discourse, the event also actively engaged students through several creative and expressive competitions. These included a Videography competition, a Poster competition, and live painting sessions where students created works based on the event's theme and the struggles of the Kashmiri people. The main address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Qazi, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Peshawar and an esteemed academic, who focused on the historical, cultural, and political dimensions of the Kashmir issue, and the struggles faced by Kashmiris, in his talk, "What Kashmir's Ruins Reveal About Its Identity." The program concluded with a formal note of thanks from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmed (T.I.), who expressed her deep appreciation to everyone for their full potential and contribution in making the multi-faceted event a great success.

All the students of 1st semester of undergraduate programme, session 2025 -2029, are hereby notified that their regular classes will commence from 13.10.2025.

Peshawar displayed it's stall at the The News Education Expo held on September 4, 2024.
The visitors from all around the province got first hand information regarding the university, the ongoing admissions and it's online process, the facilities being provided to the students.
On spot personality assessment tests were also being carried our by the senior students of Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology(PGDCP).

The university stall also displayed the 2 fresh startups ( and ) under the Women Development Centre (WDC) of the University

The Honorable Chancellor/Governor KP visited university's stall and appreciated the work display by Department of Fine Arts and Design and the initiatives taken by the university for females of KP.
