In continuation of the guest lectures, Mr. Sher Wali Khan, Assistant Chemical Examiner, FSL, conducted an engaging lecture on Crime Scene Investigation. His session provided a comprehensive overview of systematic crime scene management, including scene documentation, evidence recovery, and coordination among investigation officers. The lecture enriched students practical knowledge and reinforced the importance of forensic science as an integral component of modern criminological studies.

Subsequent to the launch of Diploma in Forensic Criminal Investigation by the Department of Criminology; a series of guest lectures was organized featuring Forensic Experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
Mr. Irfanullah, Chemical Expert FSL delivered a session on Evidence Collection, Preservation, Packaging & Chain of Custody, highlighting the importance of scientific handling of evidence in criminal Investigation. The session significantly contributed to enhancing students understanding of applied forensic methodologies within the broader discipline of criminology.

The Department of Criminology, University of Peshawar, proudly hosted its Annual Iftar Dinner 2026 at the University Guest House, bringing together respected faculty members, distinguished guests, and students in the blessed spirit of Ramadan.
We were deeply honored by the gracious presence of the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Johar Ali, and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Anwar Alam, whose participation added great value and prestige to the gathering. The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Department of Criminology, respected teachers, and enthusiastic students, making the evening truly special.
This memorable gathering reflected the values of unity, respect, and community, providing an opportunity for everyone to come together, share the blessings of Ramadan, and strengthen the bond within the academic family. Such moments create meaningful connections and leave behind memories that will be cherished for years to come.
