Congratulations to semester 1st students for securing outstanding results 🎉🎉

Our BSN 8th Semester students successfully completed a one-day Community visit to Rural Health Center (RHC) Sherpao, Charsadda, under the supervision of Mr. Sir Amir.

During the visit, students gained valuable practical knowledge about the RHC referral system, Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) and the cold chain system for vaccine storage and handling. They also visited different departments of the RHC, including the Dental Unit, Laboratory, Outpatient Department (OPD), Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Unit, minor OT, and some other area.

The students learned about patient registration and record keeping, antenatal and postnatal care services, growth monitoring and child immunization, infection prevention and control practices, health education and disease prevention activities, the roles and responsibilities of various healthcare professionals, and the importance of teamwork in delivering quality primary healthcare services.

This educational visit provided an excellent opportunity to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world clinical practice and enhanced the students' understanding of community-based healthcare services.
