Our talented Afghan master’s students at IMSciences, supported by the DAAD Scholarship, had the incredible opportunity to participate in the *EFFAL Pakistan Track event* in Lahore from December 11–13, 2024*.

Accompanied by our dedicated *focal person, Muhammad Waqas*, the students engaged in thought-provoking discussions on *SDG Goals 4 and 17*, attended inspiring speeches, participated in award ceremonies, and enjoyed a vibrant cultural evening. A heritage tour of Lahore’s old city further enriched the experience, promoting cross-cultural exchange and learning.

We are immensely grateful to *DAAD*, *HEC*, and the event organizers for empowering these future leaders and fostering collaboration for positive change.

A delegation of students from IMSciences participated in the BNU MUN VI at Beaconhouse National University (BNU) Lahore. Ms. Mahnoor Watanabe representing Palestine, Ms. Sundas Noor representing Egypt, Mr. Hanzallah Amjad representing Belgium, and Muhammad Suleiman representing Bangladesh in the UNHRC. While Ms. Saba Farooq and Ms. Hamna Ali participated as an observers.

It is with great pleasure to announce that all 4 delegates of IMSciences have been awarded Special Category Awards (SMs) in the grand award ceremony of BNUMUN VI. The students engaged in intensive debate over a period of three days and successfully passed resolutions recommending solutions to dire geopolitical and social issues.

The Art & Culture Society and the Debating Society of IMSciences were proudly selected as outreach partners for the prestigious Future Youth Conference held at the Governor’s House. This significant achievement highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of the student bodies at IMSciences in fostering creativity, dialogue, and leadership among youth.

The leads of the two societies, Hussain Ahmad (BBA, Semester 7th), Shehroz Hayat (Software Engineering, Semester 3rd), and Mamoon Ahmad (BS Accounting & Finance, Semester 5th), were honored with the Youth Leadership Certificate by the Honourable Governor Faisal Kareem Kundi for their outstanding contributions to the success of the conference. Their efforts in promoting meaningful engagement and organizing impactful outreach initiatives were instrumental in the event’s success.
