The fake minerals are minerals (or gems, that is to say outstanding minerals) not natural, man-made. Aqua Aura Quartz, Bismuth, Cermikite, Nickel Crystals

These pictures are from Barre ma, here are some pics of this unusual rock , magnetic on the dark side and not on the yellower tan side , can someone help me to identify my rock , its not lava and under magnification there are gem type minerals in it, I found this in central ma . It was on the surface and it caught my attention with my metal detector.

These image was taken on the Maria Island Walk of the Painted Cliffs on Maria Island in Tasmania. That's truly spectacular. "The geology of Maria Island is of great interest as it contains features from many geological ages. The Triassic sandstones of the Painted Cliffs is one such feature. Although this sort of rock formation is not uncommon, it is rare in a natural situation for it to be so extensively and beautifully exposed
