Exciting Opportunity for IMSciences Students!

Applications are now open for the 2025 SDG Global Summer School at Zhejiang University, China, happening from June 30 to July 11, 2025.
As Zhejiang University is a partner institution of IMSciences, tuition fees (6000 RMB ≈ PKR 232,000) for the Sustainable Production & Consumption module (ONLY) will be waived for IMSciences students. Students will be responsible for covering their own accommodation, airfare, meals, and other personal expenses.

The Office of Academic Linkages and Exchange Programs (ALEP), IMSciences held its first virtual meeting with representatives from the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB), which is ranked among the top universities in the United States.

Representing IMSciences & ALEP were Prof. Dr. Usman Ghani (Director, IMSciences), Mr. Muhammad Sikandar Khan (Coordinator, ALEP), Dr. Iftikhar-ul-Amin (Program Director - Hospitality and Tourism Management), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (Program Director - MS/PhD Computer Sciences/IT), and Ms. Sayyeda Hoor (Assistant to Coordinator, ALEP).

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for student exchange programs, dual degree initiatives, and broader academic cooperation. It marked an important step toward building an institutional partnership between IMSciences and GWSB. Future discussions will focus on developing collaborative undergraduate and graduate study programs & faculty exchange opportunities to further strengthen this collaboration.

The Office of Academic Linkages and Exchange Programs (ALEP) at IMSciences participated in the U.S. University Fair 2025, held on February 23 at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad. Represented by Mr. Sikandar Tangi (Coordinator, ALEP) and Ms. Sayyeda Hoor Khisro (Office Intern, ALEP), the team engaged in insightful discussions with representatives from 18 renowned U.S. universities and Fulbright alumni to strengthen IMSciences’ internationalization strategy.🇺🇸 🇵🇰

The event provided a valuable platform to:
🔹️ Introduce IMSciences to U.S. institutions.
🔹️ Explore academic partnerships and collaborations.
🔹️Gain insights into student exchange and scholarship opportunities.

Through these strategic engagements, IMSciences continues to expand global opportunities for students and faculty, fostering international collaborations that enhance academic excellence.

The Office of Academic Linkages & Exchange Programs (ALEP), IMSciences, participated in the International Partnership Day (IPD) 2025, hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia, held virtually on Thursday, February 13th. Representing IMSciences, Mr. Muhammad Sikandar Khan (Coordinator, ALEP) and Ms. Sayyeda Hoor Khisro (Office Intern, ALEP) attended the session to strengthen global academic collaborations.

The event facilitated discussions with ITS’s new leadership on upcoming programs and partnerships, enhancing IMSciences’ international linkages across the Asia-Pacific and America (APAC) regions. This engagement will open new academic exchange opportunities for students and faculty of IMSciences.🎓✨️

Calling undergraduate students in Pakistan!

USEFP is now accepting applications for the 2025 Global Undergraduate Semester Exchange for Pakistan. This program is open for students between 18 and 24 years old who are in their 14th year of formal education. Participants will have the opportunity to spend one semester engaging in non-degree study at a U.S. campus and learn about the principles of social responsibility through a community service project.

The Office of Academic Linkages and Exchange Programmes hosted the closing ceremony for IMS|Summer School 2024, marking the end of a 10-day educational program for high school and college students. The event celebrated students' achievements, with remarks from Prof. Dr. Usman Ghani and Mr. Sikandar Tangi.

Students showcased their creativity with skits and presented innovative business ideas. Certificates were awarded to recognize their dedication and hard work throughout the 10-day program.

The IMS|Summer School and ALEP organized an insightful visit to the Peshawar Museum for the summer school participants, supervised by Mr. Sikandar Tangi. This educational excursion provided students with valuable exposure to our region’s rich cultural heritage and offered them the chance to explore historical artifacts up close!
