آج گورنمنٹ کالج آف مینجمنٹ سائنسز-II، رنگ روڈ پشاور میں (یومِ سیاہ) کے موقع پر ایک پُرامن تقریب منعقد ہوئی۔ یہ دن کشمیری عوام سے اظہارِ یکجہتی اور بھارتی افواج کے 27 اکتوبر 1947ء کے غیر قانونی قبضے کے خلاف احتجاج کے طور پر منایا گیا۔

تقریب کا آغاز صبح 10 بجے ایک منٹ کی خاموشی سے ہوا، جس کے ذریعے کشمیری شہداء کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا گیا۔ اس کے بعد اساتذہ اور طلباء نے کشمیری عوام سے یکجہتی کے اظہار کے طور پر پرامن واک میں حصہ لیا۔ واک کے دوران طلباء نے پرجوش انداز میں "کشمیر بنے گا پاکستان" اور "ہم کیا چاہتے، آزادی" جیسے نعرے لگائے۔

واک کے بعد پرنسپل صاحب نے اپنے خطاب میں کشمیر میں جاری بھارتی مظالم کی شدید مذمت کی اور کہا کہ پاکستان کی عوام ہر مشکل وقت میں اپنے کشمیری بھائیوں کے ساتھ کھڑی ہے۔ انہوں نے اقوامِ عالم سے مطالبہ کیا کہ وہ کشمیری عوام کو اُن کا حقِ خود ارادیت دلانے میں عملی کردار ادا کریں۔

آخر میں شہدائے کشمیر کے لیے دعائے مغفرت اور کشمیری عوام کی آزادی کے لیے خصوصی دعا کی گئی۔

آج گورنمنٹ کالج آف مینجمنٹ سائنسز نمبر 2 رنگ روڈ پشاور میں سپورٹس گالا کی شاندار اور پُروقار تقریب میں تقسیم انعامات کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔
تقریب میں جوش و خروش کا عالم دیدنی تھا، جہاں کامیاب طلباء کو ٹرافیاں، شیلڈز اور نقد انعامات سے نوازا گیا۔

تقریب کا باقاعدہ آغاز پرنسپل جی سی ایم ایس کالج نمبر 2 پشاور کی پُرجوش خوش آمدیدی تقریر سے ہوا، جنہوں نے طلباء کے حوصلے، نظم و ضبط اور کھیلوں میں شاندار کارکردگی کو سراہا۔
اس موقع پر جناب ندیم صاحب اور جناب سید تصدیق حسین شاہ صاحب نے بھی اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے طلباء کی صلاحیتوں اور ٹیم ورک کی تعریف کی۔

تقریب کے مہمانِ خصوصی ڈائریکٹر جنرل کامرس ایجوکیشن پروفیسر عمر علی خان صاحب تھے، جنہوں نے طلباء اور اساتذہ سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ کھیلیں نہ صرف جسمانی صحت بلکہ اخلاقی تربیت اور قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کو بھی نکھارتی ہیں۔
انہوں نے تمام فاتح ٹیموں اور شرکاء کو دل کی گہرائیوں سے مبارکباد دی اور انہیں زندگی کے ہر میدان میں کامیابی کے لیے دعا دی۔
