I have put all the stuff on your table baba,I want you to write my speech this night....and next morning same bundle of books ,with same symmetry was staring at me......and complaining.... no one touched us and me standing in front of of baba.....you have not opened a single book with some emotional blackmailing (which all of us does ,being the strongest weapon infront of our parents ).......and then after the struggle of many days finally he opened those books and after searching for a long time from different pages ,marked different points and prepared a speech for me....

And then it became a habit.....Inspite of strict orders of home ministry I mean Amman hazoor,I used to register my name first for the extra curricular activities and then used to announce it officially at home... and then after usual dant dapat my sisters used to help me to prepare it.When I got ist prize in my life in prep class,I still remember that was a bottle filled with color pencils,and what I did with that gift is another interesting story because after reaching home..... It wasn't looking like a gift anymore ....and after a long long lecture given by each and every individual at home .........it was my Ist and last time when I opened it at school ...after that till now I have never dared to even touch it until or unless I reach my home.

On the function of farewell in 5th calss,I was tasked to deliver a farewell speech and for that I again collected a bundle of books and filled baba's table with it..... this time unfortunately emotional blackmailing didn't work....but this time one day baba came and said, "I wrote a poem for your speech with a title "alvida" while sitting in the bank".Many years have been passed but I still have that original page in my file..... realized it after so long in life............that.....
he was trying to make me independent, self sufficient,he was training her daughter with the art of playing words......with the art of written expression... as written impressions last longer....
I think baba might be looking at me staying somewhere in heaven that his training worked....his daughter has started journey of paper pen independently..........he is not here to write for me ...but I'm writing for him...and that's indeed an honor for me....
I started writing with a pen name "Dur e Maknoon" ....but later on I changed it into "Paras"

But during this journey of " words "I realized the most interesting part was to meet extremely talented "Writers of KMC", Javed bhai,Arbaz bhai,Moazam bhai,Asma Rasool,Sama Roman,Saamia Ahsan,Huma Zeb,Umar Anwar, Abdullah kakakhel,Zainab batool, Mahnoor Khalid,Osama Ahmad,Aneeqa Ahsan,Sumaiya yousaf,Haroon Marwat,Waleed Zeb, Hammad Ali,Huwaida Saleh....and many more juniors and seniors whom I know by the reference of their beautiful writings.....when I was working as Chief Editor Urdu section,best phase was to read the thoughts beautifully encrypted on paper.... honestly I learned from all of those writings...and this experience strengthened my belief... belief that words have immense power...extra ordinary power of changing perspectives, outstanding power of instilling optimism.... amazing power of lifting someone's morale,...magical power of guidance.....
In this regard ,we should admit the fact that KMC has not only provided us educational excellence but also at the same time this institute has nurtured our hidden skills, its literary circle has provided us a platform where we can express our artistic colors,where we can express our inner writers.I still remember when I was in 1st year we had a class group by the name "Izhar e ahsas",I don't know who brought this brilliant idea but literally that was the platform from where I started my journey as a writer of KMC, and the perfect part of the story was.... in that group we used to post our writings anonymously....with our pennames...and similarly real credit goes to literary societies of KMC, because I believe until or unless you are not going to provide a platform, sometimes even a person himself can't realize his true potential.....✨

Depression Is Not Just a Mental Illness, It Affects the Whole Organism
An international team of researchers lead by the University of Granada has scientifically proven, for the first time, that depression is associated with important alterations of the oxidative stress, so it should be considered a systemic disease.

The results of this work, published in the renowned Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, could explain the significant association that depression has with cardiovascular diseases and cancer, and why people suffering from depression die younger. At the same time, this research may help finding new therapeutic targets for the prevention and treatment of depression.

The lead author of this work is Sara Jiménez Fernández, PhD student at the UGR and psychiatrist at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit at Jaén Medical Center (Jaén, Spain). The co-authors are the UGR Psychiatry professors Manuel Gurpegui Fernández de Legaria and Francisco Díaz Atienza, in collaboration, among others, with Christoph Correll from the Zucker Hillside Hospital (New York, USA).

A study with 3961 people

This research is a meta analysis of 29 previous studies which comprise 3961 people, and it’s the first detailed work of its kind about what happens in the organism of people suffering from depression. It studies the imbalance between the individual increase of various oxidative stress parameters (especially malondialdehyde, a biomarker to measure the oxidative deterioration of the cell membrane) and the decrease in antioxidant substances (such as uric acid, zinc, and the superoxide dismutase enzyme).
