مورخہ 8 جون 2026 کو گورنمنٹ گرلز ڈگری کالج جمرود میں ایک پُروقار تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں محکمۂ زکوٰۃ و عشر ضلع خیبر (Dept. of Zakat & Ushr, District Khyber) کی جانب سے مستحق اور نادار طالبات میں زکوٰۃ مورا اسکالرشپ (Zakat Mora Scholarship) کے چیک تقسیم کیے گئے۔ تقریب میں پرنسپل گورنمنٹ گرلز ڈگری کالج جمرود، محکمۂ زکوٰۃ و عشر کے نمائندگان، اور کالج کی اسکالرشپ کمیٹی کے اراکین نے شرکت کی۔

زکوٰۃ اسکالرشپ کے حوالے سے پہلے جاری کردہ نوٹیفکیشن کے تسلسل میں FA/Fsc کے ان تمام طالبات کو مطلع کیا جاتا ہے جنہوں نے اپنے فارم کالج میں جمع کروائے ہیں، کہ وہ 2 جون 2026 بروز منگل صبح 9:00 بجے سے00 :12 بجے تک انٹرویو کے لیے کالج حاضر ہوں۔
تمام طالبات اپنی اصل دستاویزات اپنے ہمراہ ضرور لائیں۔
جو طالبات انٹرویو میں حاضر نہیں ہوں گی، انہیں اسکالرشپ کے لیے نااہل تصور کیا جائے گا۔

کے تمام مستحق/ضرورت مند ریگولر طالبات کو مطلع کیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ اپنی زکوٰۃ اسکالرشپ فارم مس صائمہ امان کے پاس جمع کرائیں۔
درخواست فارم کالج میں موجود ہیں، جو بروز پیر 18/5/2026 سے 20/5/2026 تک صبح 9:00 بجے سے دوپہر 12:00 بجے تک
حاصل کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔
یتیم طالبات کو ترجیح دی جائے گی۔ ایسی طالبات کو مطلع کیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ اپنے ساتھ اپنے والد کا ڈیتھ سرٹیفکیٹ ضرور لائیں۔
محکمۂ زکوٰۃ کے مطابق صرف 9 طالبات کی زکوٰۃ کی منظوری ہوئی ہے، لہٰذا انتہائی ضرورت مند طالبات کو موقع دیا جائے تاکہ غیر ضروری رش سے بچا جا سکے۔

سوشل میڈیا پر افواہیں گردش کر رہی ہیں کہ جمرود کالج میں طالبات سے رول نمبر سلپ کے عوض رقم وصول کی جا رہی ہے۔ آپ سب کی اطلاع کے لیے عرض ہے کہ یہ رقم رول نمبر سلپ کی نہیں ہے بلکہ طالبات کی غیر حاضریوں کا جرمانہ ہے جو ڈائریکٹریٹ آف ہائر ایجوکیشن کے قواعد و ضوابط کے عین مطابق لیا جاتا ہے اور سرکاری خزانے میں جمع کیا جاتا ہے۔
الحمدللہ، اس سارے رسیدوں کا سارا ریکارڈ کالج میں محفوظ ہے،
اور ڈائریکٹر رولز کی سائن شدہ کاپی شئیر کی جارہی ہے تاکہ کوئی شک باقی نہ رہے
اس سلسلے میں عوام ایک دوسرے کو اشتعال دلانے اور غلط فہمیاں پیدا کرنے سے گریز کریں اور ادرے کو قوانین کے مطابق کام کرنے دیں ۔اس کے بعد اگر کسی کو کوئی شک ہو تو وہ ادارے تشریف لاکر سارا ریکارڈ دیکھ سکتے ہیں

A science exhibition was successfully organized at Government Girls Degree College (GGDC) Jamrud with great enthusiasm and active participation from various departments. The event aimed to promote creativity, innovation, and practical learning among students.
The departments of Physics, Botany, Political Science, Economics, and Islamiat actively participated in the exhibition. Each department presented its subject in an engaging and informative manner, reflecting the dedication and hard work of both students and faculty members.
Students confidently explained their work and interacted with teachers and the principal, showcasing their understanding of different concepts. The exhibition created an environment of learning and curiosity, encouraging students to think critically and express their ideas effectively.

Report on Plantation Day (23rd March) at GGDC Jamrud
Plantation Day was observed on 23rd March at Government Girls Degree College (GGDC) Jamrud with a sense of responsibility and commitment. The day was marked to highlight the importance of environmental protection along with the significance of Pakistan Day.
The event began with a brief mention of the historical importance of 23rd March and its role in the creation of Pakistan. The principal and teachers reflected on the need to contribute positively towards the country and environment.
On this occasion, the principal and teachers planted trees within the college premises to promote a cleaner and greener environment. The activity emphasized the importance of tree plantation and environmental conservation.
The principal appreciated the efforts of the teachers and encouraged the continuation of such initiatives in the future. The event was conducted in a simple yet meaningful manner.

GGDC observed Kashmir Solidarity Day on 5th February with great respect and national spirit to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir and to reaffirm their right to self-determination.
The program was organized under the supervision of the worthy Principal, Madam Shahguloon, whose guidance and encouragement played a key role in making the event meaningful and well-organized. In her address, the Principal highlighted the significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day and emphasized the need to raise awareness among students about the ongoing human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir. She appreciated the enthusiasm of students and encouraged them to remain informed, compassionate, and responsible citizens.
As part of the activities, a debate competition was held in which students actively participated and expressed their views on the Kashmir issue with confidence and clarity. The participants demonstrated commendable knowledge, critical thinking, and passion for the cause. The competition not only enhanced students’ speaking skills but also deepened their understanding of the issue.
At the end of the event, students who performed well were appreciated and encouraged for their efforts. The program concluded with prayers for the freedom, peace, and prosperity of Kashmir.

Government Girls Degree College (GGDC) Jamrud observed Anti-Corruption Week with great enthusiasm and awareness-oriented activities. As part of the week-long observance, a walk was organized on 11th December, in which students and staff members actively participated to highlight the importance of integrity and transparency in society.
On 12th December, a speech competition was held, providing students an opportunity to express their thoughts on the causes, impacts, and solutions to corruption. The event began with the Tilawat-e-Quran, followed by a Naat, creating a respectful and inspiring atmosphere. Students from various disciplines delivered well-prepared speeches, showing their keen interest in promoting honesty and accountability.
At the conclusion of the event, Principal Shah Guloon addressed the participants. She spoke about the dangers of corruption and emphasized the role of youth in building a fair and corruption-free society. She also appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty for organizing meaningful activities throughout the week.
The Anti-Corruption Week at GGDC Jamrud successfully raised awareness among students and encouraged them to play an active role in promoting integrity and ethical values.
