The ICHS Peshawar organized a one-day seminar on *"The Role of Nurses in Thalassemia Prevention, Screening, and Counseling."*

The event began with recitation of the Holy Quran. Chief guests Dr. Luqman, Mr.Sana ur Rehman, Miss.Maroof Mehmood, Miss.Samina Naz, and Mr.Muhammad Iqbal joined the session.
Experts emphasized the vital role of nurses in timely screening, pre-marital testing, and genetic counseling for affected families

In closing remarks, the chief guests and Vice Principal praised the students’ efforts and stressed that nurses are on the frontline in raising community awareness and helping eradicate hereditary diseases like thalassemia.

The seminar ended with certificate and award distribution to participants and top-performing students.

International College of Health Sciences, Peshawar hosted a one-day seminar on _" The Role of Nurse in Drug Abuse "_ organized by our dedicated BS Nursing 8th Semester students.

The event began with Holy Quran recitation and featured a powerful drug awareness drama + presentation by our talented students.
We were honored by the presence of:
*Chief Guest 1:* *Mr Afsardad* , BS Nursing Director, Peshawar Institute of Cardiology
*Chief Guest 2:* *Ms Shabnam* , Assistant Professor, Khyber Medical University

Awards were distributed and our Chief Guests along with the Vice Principal appreciated the students' hard work and commitment to raising awareness.
