جہاں دنیا ٹیکنالوجی کے میدان میں روز بروز ترقی کر رہی ہے، وہیں پاکستان میں انجینئرنگ ٹیکنالوجی کے شعبے کو جان بوجھ کر نظرانداز کیا جا رہا ہے۔

یہ افسوسناک حقیقت ہے کہ جس وقت دنیا انجینئرنگ ٹیکنالوجی کو ریڑھ کی ہڈی سمجھ کر ترقی کی راہوں پر گامزن ہے، ہمارے ہاں انہی ٹیکنالوجی گریجویٹس کو نوکریوں، شناخت اور مواقع سے محروم کیا جا رہا ہے۔

ایک طرف تو انجینئرنگ یونیورسٹیز خود ٹیکنالوجی گریجویٹس کو اہل تسلیم نہیں کرتیں، دوسری طرف ٹیکنالوجی یونیورسٹیز میں انہی انجینئرز کو ان پوسٹس پر اہل قرار دیا جاتا ہے جو واضح طور پر ٹیکنالوجی ڈومین سے تعلق رکھتی ہیں۔

یہ کیسی پالیسی ہے؟ کیسا انصاف ہے؟
یہ سراسر امتیازی سلوک ہے، شعوری ناانصافی ہے، اور ایک پورے طبقے کے مستقبل کے ساتھ کھلواڑ ہے۔

ہماری آواز دبائی جا رہی ہے، لیکن اب نہیں۔
یہ وقت ہے حق کے لیے کھڑے ہونے کا،
انصاف کے لیے بولنے کا،
اور اپنی پہچان کو تسلیم کروانے کا۔

Just noticed some serious hypocrisy by UoT Nowshera! 😤
They’re allowing PEC Engineers to apply for the Lab Technologist position, even though this is the primary domain of Engineering Technology graduates.

Check out the photo below—NUST’s ad for Lab Engineer says only PEC engineers can apply. UET Mardan’s ad (Vacancy #2) does the same, excluding Engineering Technology grads completely. But our own tech university, UiT Nowshera, opens its doors to PEC engineers for a post that should be ours!

These double standards are just unfair—when will justice be done for the Engineering Technology community?

Many times it feels like Pakistan just wants to say: “Engineers have the right to everything, while Engineering Technology graduates have no future here—just leave and go abroad.”

When will this discrimination end or should we simply pack up and find the respect we deserve elsewhere?

Dear VC University of Technology Nowshera Dr. Saeed Badshah Your Attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

🚨 Spot the Hypocrisy! 🚨

Today I’m sharing two job ads side by side, and the double standard is crystal clear:

📷 UET Peshawar ( University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar )strictly hires Lab Engineers from PEC-accredited engineers only—not a single chance for Engineering Technology graduates!
📷 Meanwhile, UoT Nowshera (literally a university for technologists!) is offering Lab Technologist jobs to BOTH PEC (engineering) and NTC (technology) graduates.

Why this drama? Why can’t technologists get jobs at engineering universities, yet their own university bends over backward to accommodate everyone? This is bias and hypocrisy at its peak!

It’s time to end this double game. If we truly want merit, then let’s lay all cards on the table—open every job for both PEC and NTC qualified candidates, everywhere. Let justice and transparency decide!
