Salat-ul-Tasbih is a special voluntary (Nafl) prayer in which a specific Tasbih is recited repeatedly. In this prayer, the Tasbih is recited 300 times in total.
Tasbih to Recite 👇
Arabic:
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
Transliteration:
Subhanallahi wal-hamdulillahi wa la ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar
Meaning:
Glory be to Allah, all praise is for Allah, there is no god except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
Complete Method of 4 Rak‘ahs.
1️⃣ Intention (Niyyah)
Make the intention in your heart:
“I intend to pray four rak‘ahs of Salat-ul-Tasbih for the sake of Allah.”
First Rak‘ah
1️⃣ After Sana (opening supplication)
Recite the Tasbih 15 times
2️⃣ After Surah Al-Fatiha and another Surah
Recite the Tasbih 10 times
3️⃣ In Ruku (bowing)
Recite the Tasbih 10 times
4️⃣ After rising from Ruku (Qawmah)
Recite the Tasbih 10 times
5️⃣ In the first Sajdah (prostration)
Recite the Tasbih 10 times
6️⃣ While sitting between the two Sajdahs
Recite the Tasbih 10 times
7️⃣ In the second Sajdah
Recite the Tasbih 10 times
➡️ Total in one Rak‘ah = 75 times
Remaining 3 Rak‘ahs
Pray the remaining three rak‘ahs in the same way.
➡️ Total Tasbih in 4 Rak‘ahs = 300 times
✅ Best Time to Pray
•It is especially recommended in Ramadan
•Particularly during the last 10 nights of Ramadan
•However, it can be prayed on any day of the year
