Had a really great time connecting with our new juniors yesterday!

Honestly, walking into UET on day one can feel pretty intimidating, new environment, tough routines, and trying to figure out how classes, labs, and campus life all fit together. It was awesome sitting down with you all, breaking the initial awkwardness, and clearing up some of those first-week doubts.

A few quick takeaways from our chat yesterday:
Take it one step at a time: Don't let the new load stress you out right away, you'll find your rhythm faster than you think.

Build your circle: The friends and seniors you connect with now are what will make the tough semesters easy and fun.

Chitral UET Society

We are pleased to announce that Hamad Ur Rehman has been elected as the President of Chitral UET Society for the 2026–2027 session.

Hamad Ur Rehman is a 7th-semester Industrial Engineering student from Barenis, Chitral. He was elected through mutual consultation and consensus among the students during a meeting held to discuss the society’s leadership and future activities.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Hamad Ur Rehman on his election and wish him a successful tenure. We hope that under his leadership, the society will continue to promote unity, cooperation, student welfare, and effective representation of Chitral students.

With great pride and happiness, we congratulate Wajih Uddin from Upper Chitral (Terich) on being awarded the Prime Minister’s Laptop. This achievement is a true reflection of his continuous hard work, discipline, and strong commitment to his studies.

Currently studying Civil Engineering at UET Peshawar and in his 6th semester, Wajih has proven that success comes to those who stay consistent and focused on their goals.

This honor also belongs to his parents for their prayers and sacrifices, and to his teachers for their sincere guidance and support. Their role in his journey is truly commendable.

UET Peshawar | CSA Campaign 2026

Today, Umar Hayat Baig, Presidential Candidate of Chitral Students Association (CSA) KPK and a student of the University of Peshawar (Department of Disaster Management), visited UET Peshawar as part of his campaign for the upcoming elections on 9th February.

It is worth mentioning that Umar Hayat Baig was the only CSA presidential candidate who personally came to UET Peshawar, showing his seriousness and willingness to listen directly to students.

During the visit, Sajid Iqbal (Civil Engineering, final year student at UET Peshawar) and Hamad Ur Rehman (Industrial Engineering, 6th semester) shared the key issues faced by Chitrali students at UET Peshawar.

After listening carefully, Umar Hayat Baig assured full support and promised that, after winning the election, he would work to resolve all genuine problems faced by Chitrali students. He also committed to including a UET Peshawar representative in his CSA core team to ensure better coordination and timely solutions.

In return, the Chitrali students of UET Peshawar expressed their full support and pledged to vote for Umar Hayat Baig with unity in the upcoming CSA elections.

Strengthening Bonds – Chitrali UETian’s × CSWO Islamabad

We were deeply honored to host Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Asfandiyar, President of the Chitral Students Welfare Organization (CSWO) Islamabad, at UET Peshawar, on the special invitation of the President of Chitrali UETian’s.
During this meaningful interaction held at the Engineering Tribal Hostel, both presidents engaged in a constructive discussion and formally signed an agreement for future collaboration between the two organizations. The dialogue covered various prospects of mutual cooperation in academic, co-curricular, and leadership development activities.
We, the members of Chitrali UETian’s, extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Abdullah Asfandiyar for taking out time from his busy schedule to visit us. This meeting marks the beginning of a stronger network of Chitrali students across Pakistan, united for collective growth, harmony, and service to our community.

A heartfelt farewell party was recently organized by the junior Chitrali students at UET for their graduating seniors, marking a beautiful and emotional moment of celebration and reflection. The event was filled with warmth, laughter, and gratitude as the juniors went above and beyond to honor the efforts and achievements of their seniors. A special highlight of the evening was the cake-cutting ceremony, gracefully led by the Chairman Electrical department, who not only shared in the joy of the occasion but also offered valuable words of encouragement and wisdom to the students. The atmosphere was filled with unity and mutual respect as memories were shared and bonds were strengthened. President of the Chitrali Students Society, Muhsin, expressed his sincere thanks to the juniors for arranging such a meaningful event and emphasized the importance of standing by each other in every field of life, encouraging everyone to continue this beautiful tradition of brotherhood and support.
