مقصد یہ ہے کہ ثابت کیا جائے کہ مذہب اور سائنس ایک دوسرے کے مخالف نہیں، بلکہ ایک دوسرے کی تائید کر سکتے ہیں ۔
💦قرآن کیا کہتا ہے؟
قرآن میں واضح طور پر بتایا گیا ہے کہ پانی زندگی کی اصل ہے۔
Surah Al-Anbiya (21:30) –
ہر جاندار چیز پانی سے بنائی گئی۔
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:164) – بارش مردہ زمین کو زندہ کرتی ہے۔
Surah An-Nur (24:45) – تمام جانور پانی سے پیدا کیے گئے۔
💦مشہور مفسر Ibn Kathir کےمطابق :
آسمان اور زمین پہلے جڑے ہوئے تھے، پھر اللہ نے انہیں جدا کیا۔ بارش نازل ہوئی اور پانی سے زندگی پیدا ہوئی۔
💦قرآن کے مطابق زندگی کی ابتدا پانی سے اللہ کے حکم سے ہوئی۔
💦سائنس کیا کہتی ہے ؟
1920ء میں Alexander Oparin اور J. B. S. Haldane نے نظریہ پیش کیا کہ:
ابتدائی زمین پر میتھین، امونیا، ہائیڈروجن اور پانی کی بھاپ تھی۔
آکسیجن نہیں تھی۔
بجلی اور سورج کی شعاعوں سے کیمیائی ردِعمل ہوئے۔
سادہ نامیاتی مالیکیول بنے، پھر زندگی کے خلیے وجود میں آئے۔
1953 میں Stanley Miller اور Harold Urey نے مشہور Miller-Urey experiment کیا۔
انہوں نے پانی کو گرم کیا، گیسیں شامل کیں اور بجلی کے جھٹکے دیے۔ چند دن بعد امینو ایسڈ بن گئے، جو زندگی کی بنیادی اینٹیں ہیں۔
💦جدید تحقیق
2021 کی تحقیق (Luke Daly) کے مطابق:
زمین پر پانی شاید شہابیوں (asteroids) سے آیا۔
سورج کی ہواؤں نے پانی بنانے میں مدد دی۔
💦نتیجہ
قرآن اور سائنس دونوں اس بات پر زور دیتے ہیں کہ پانی زندگی کی بنیاد ہے۔
دونوں نظریات میں مماثلت پائی جاتی ہے، اس لیے مذہب اور سائنس ایک دوسرے کے مخالف نہیں بلکہ ہم آہنگ ہو سکتے ہیں۔

Scientists Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson and Omar M. Yaghi won the Nobel Prize in chemistry on Wednesday 8 October 2025 for their development of metal–organic frameworks, which an expert likened to Hermione Granger's enchanted handbag in the fictional "Harry Potter" series.
The three laureates, in research dating back to 1989, developed a new form of molecular architecture that—like Hermione's handbag—is small on the outside but very large on the inside, according to Olof Ramström, a member of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry.

"They have created molecular constructions with large spaces through which gases and other chemicals can flow," the committee said.

Hans Ellegren, secretary-general of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, announced the chemistry prize in Stockholm. It was the third prize announced this week.

Robson, 88, is affiliated with the University of Melbourne in Australia, Kitagawa, 74, with Japan's Kyoto University and Yaghi, 60, with the University of California, Berkeley.

The chemists, working separately but adding to each other's breakthroughs, devised ways to make stable metal organic frameworks—which may be compared to the timber framework of a house.

These structures can absorb and contain gases inside these frameworks, with many practical applications today—such as capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere or sucking water out of dry desert air.

"Metal-organic frameworks have enormous potential, bringing previously unforeseen opportunities for custom-made materials with new functions," Heiner Linke, chair of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry, said in a news release.

Application: Anesthesia
Cyclopropane was once used as gen-
eral anesthetic because its vapors, like
those of other simple alkanes and
cycloalkanes, cause sleepiness and a
loss of consciousness. After inhalation
into the lungs, cyclopropane goes into
the blood. Due to its nonpolar nature, it
rapidly leaves the blood and passes
through the nonpolar membranes sur-
rounding the central nervous system,
where it produces anesthesia.
Cyclopropane is no longer used as an
anesthetic because it is highly flamma-
ble (like ether) and can cause explo-
sions when mixed with air.
