Islamia Collegiate School, Islamia College Peshawar organized special sermons on the sacred and auspicious occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.
In this regard, two separate gatherings were arranged in the hostels of the institution. The students of Grant Hostel and Khyber Hostel attended the sermon held at Khyber Hostel, where Prof. Dr. Saleem-ur-Rahman from Islamia College Peshawar addressed the audience. Similarly, at New Tribal Hostel, the students attended a sermon delivered by Dr. Aziz Ullah from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
Both distinguished speakers eloquently highlighted the "Uswa-e-Hasna" (Perfect Model of Life) of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), underscoring that his blessed birth brought light to a world engulfed in ignorance, injustice, and moral decline. They emphasized that the Prophet’s teachings, based on mercy, justice, equality, and compassion, remain timeless guiding principles for leading a balanced, moral, and purposeful life. By adopting these noble values in personal, social, and professional spheres, society can overcome modern challenges and nurture peace, harmony, and integrity.
The Principals, Senior Warden, and Wardens of all three hostels also graced the gatherings, enhancing their spiritual and educational significance. Their presence served as a source of encouragement for students to not only celebrate the blessed occasion but also to embody in their daily lives the everlasting message of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) — a message that continues to inspire and transform humanity across generations.
