What is idiom?
Well, an idiom is a special phrase that always appears in a particular form. Many idioms use metaphors or comparisons to make simple ideas more vivid. For instance, to say “You are making a mountain of molehill”, is more interesting way of saying “you are exaggerating .” In the same way, “Let’s take the bull by the horn” is a more vivid way of saying . “Let’s face the problem”.
Another way we could through light upon this term is, a phrase or group of words that doesn’t convey the same idea which we see apparently!
Why should we learn and use Idioms?
Verily, idioms are a part of vocabulary and as far as the above questions are concerned, we could say that if one feels like making his English more stylish, professional and accurate he, then must master them. Secondly if one come across a native speaker, he will be able to get his ideas easily, this is why we should absorb them.
