The Corpus Research Centre, Minhaj University Lahore organized an insightful seminar on 12 January 2025 as part of its Seminar Series 2025. Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal Bhatti, Director CRC, inaugurated the session by welcoming participants and emphasizing the importance of advancing research in corpus linguistics. Mr. Hasanat Ahmad, Research Associate CRC conducted the seminar, titled "Exploring Corpus Linguistics Basics: Tools, Techniques, and Applications," covered essential topics such as corpus tools, methodologies, and approaches, corpus design, and an exploration of various corpora worldwide and in Pakistan. The seminar was attended by PhD and MPhil scholars of Linguistics.
