Digital Skills Training & Support Program for Southern Balochistan has started the enrollments in Batch-04 to empower the youth with Digital Skills.

Enroll in two courses from the FREE offered courses. Well-equipped labs are installed in UET Khuzdar, the University of Turbat, and the University of Gwadar where skilled instructors are available to guide the trainees.

Virtual University of Pakistan (Bahawalpur Campus) conducted an awareness seminar on Food Safety & Hygiene for its students and the general public at the varsity campus last week.

The campus manager formally started the seminar and welcome all the distinguished guests. He also questioned the reality of the recent social media debate about Junk food and its hazards, particularly the recent trend of Samosa or atom bomb from all the participants and representatives of PFA.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Muhammad Aslam Sheikh (a Well-known Nutritionist and Ex-Director of Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital, Bahawalpur) briefed about the right eating routines and quality of food that a person should take and avoid. He also demonstrated the types of germs that are not bad and are useful for the human body to perform its task.

The Principal of Punjab Food Authority Training School, Miss Javaria Tahir, also spoke during this occasion and asked the audience to mention their daily eating routine. She highlighted the right or wrong habits that a person should know.

The Key speaker Mr. Zeeshan gave a very informative presentation about food hazards and the diseases that a low immunity or germ-full food can cause. He presents a detailed explanation of approximately all the food items that are available in our restaurants and how they display them.

In the end, the chief guest and key Speakers were given shields. The Students who actively participated in this seminar were given Certificates by the Campus faculty.
