28 May — Youm-e-Takbeer 🇵🇰

Today, we proudly remember Youm-e-Takbeer, an important day in the history of Pakistan. On this day, Pakistan became a nuclear power and showed the world its strength, unity, and determination.

This great achievement was the result of the efforts and sacrifices of many patriotic leaders, scientists, engineers, and technologists.

We pay tribute to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for starting and supporting Pakistan’s nuclear program; to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and all the dedicated scientists, engineers, and technologists who worked tirelessly to make this mission successful; to General Zia-ul-Haq for continuing and protecting this national program; and to Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for his courageous leadership and historic decision on 28 May 1998 despite strong international pressure.

Youm-e-Takbeer reminds us that with unity, hard work, knowledge, and commitment, a nation can achieve great success.

May Allah keep Pakistan strong, safe, and prosperous.

Applications are now open for the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) conducted by HEC through the Education Testing Council (ETC) for admissions to undergraduate programmes in Pakistani universities.

Students who have passed HSSC/equivalent or are awaiting results of final examinations are eligible to apply.
