CEO, District Education Authority, Pakpattan, Shazia Rafique, visited GHS 35/EB, Arifwala, along with the DEO (EE-M), Pakpattan and DDEO (EE-M), Tehsil Arifwala, to review the progress of construction work under the SMC initiative.

During the visit, the school was found clean and well-managed. SMC construction work had been completed up to the lintel level, and the quality of work was found satisfactory.

The Headmaster was directed to expedite the remaining construction work and ensure its timely completion. The Headmaster and staff were appreciated for maintaining good cleanliness and effective school management.

CEO (District Education Authority) Pakpattan, Shazia Rafique, visited GPS 53/A-EB along with the DEO (EE-M), Pakpattan and DDEO (EE-M), Tehsil Arifwala, to inaugurate two newly constructed classrooms completed under the SMC project.

The newly completed classrooms are among the first SMC project classrooms in Punjab to be completed, reflecting the effective monitoring, efficient management, and timely implementation of the development initiative by DEA Pakpattan.

The classrooms have been beautifully constructed and well-furnished, featuring marble flooring and ceiling fans, providing students with a comfortable, pleasant, and improved learning environment.

Members of the local community and SMC were also present on the occasion. CEO DEA Pakpattan appreciated the Head Teacher, school staff, and SMC members for their dedicated efforts and for completing the classrooms ahead of schedule.

She appreciated the collaborative efforts of the school and community in providing better learning facilities and an improved educational environment for students.

CEO, District Education Authority, Pakpattan, Ms. Shazia Rafique, visited Government High School Farid Kot for a detailed monitoring visit.

Teacher attendance was 100%, while student attendance was 80%. During the visit, cleanliness of the backyards, grounds, and washrooms was found to be highly unsatisfactory. Despite repeated written directions and voice notes issued by the controlling officers, adequate measures had not been taken by the Head Teacher to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the school premises.

The Class 9th result was 12% among 17 students. It was also observed that teachers were not following the prescribed dress code.

The CEO personally held a meeting with the school staff and issued clear directions regarding all observations. The Head Teacher and staff were directed to resolve all identified issues within office hours today and submit a compliance report accordingly. Strict instructions were also issued to ensure improved cleanliness, discipline, adherence to the dress code, and focused efforts for improvement in students’ learning outcomes.

Teacher attendance was 90%, while student attendance was 87%. The overall cleanliness and discipline of the school were well maintained, and the classrooms were found to be in good condition. The staff was observed following the prescribed dress code.

The SMC construction work has progressed to the lintel level and was found to be underway satisfactorily. The CEO appreciated the Head Teacher and staff for their efforts in maintaining the school environment and encouraged them to continue their good work with the same commitment and dedication.
