Silver Jubilee Celebrations: Glimpses of the festivities honoring our respected Principal Sr. Lubna Aster Elias Lubna Aster Elias
18/12/2025
Rev. Sr. Lubna Aster Elias ,
With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, we congratulate you on the blessed occasion of completing 25 years of your First Religious Profession in the Holy Family Sisters of Bordeaux. This Silver Jubilee is not just a celebration of time, but a sacred remembrance of love lived faithfully, promises renewed daily, and a life poured out generously for God and His people.
Twenty-five years ago, you responded courageously to the gentle yet powerful call of the Lord. Like Mary, you said “Yes” with trust, surrender, and hope. Through joys and struggles, light and shadow, your fidelity has remained a living testimony of God’s grace at work.
“The Lord who called you is faithful, and He will accomplish it.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:24)
Your religious life reflects the charism of the Holy Family—rooted in simplicity, communion, availability, and compassionate service. You have walked with the poor, comforted the broken, taught with patience, prayed with faith, and loved without counting the cost. Your quiet sacrifices and hidden faithfulness echo the words of Jesus:
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your master.”
(Matthew 25:21)
Dear Sister, your commitment is a beautiful offering—renewed each day at the altar of ordinary life. You have chosen, again and again, to belong wholly to God, to trust Him even when the path was unclear, and to remain faithful even when the journey demanded much. Your life proclaims:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:13)
As you celebrate this Silver Jubilee, We thank God for the gift of your vocation, your perseverance, and your loving presence. May the Lord who planted this call continue to deepen your joy, renew your strength, and fill your heart with peace.
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles.”
(Isaiah 40:31)
We pray that the coming years may be filled with fresh anointing, deeper intimacy with Christ, and abundant fruitfulness in your mission. May Mary, our Mother, walk beside you always, and may the Holy Family continue to be your inspiration and strength.
With love, gratitude, and prayers,
Congratulations on your Silver Jubilee!
May your life continue to be a blessing to us, to the Church and the world.

Today, Holy Family Convent Boys/Girls High School, Okara, proudly celebrates two momentous occasions — the Prefect Ceremony and Iqbal Day. Both events reflect our commitment to nurturing leadership, character, and intellectual growth among our students.
The Prefect Ceremony symbolizes trust, responsibility, and honor. Our newly appointed prefects have been chosen not only for their academic excellence but also for their sense of discipline, dedication, and moral integrity. As they wear their badges, they embrace the noble duty of leading their peers with humility, fairness, and compassion, becoming true ambassadors of our school’s values.
In conjunction, we commemorate Iqbal Day, paying tribute to the great poet-philosopher, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, whose vision of Khudi (self-realization) continues to inspire generations toward faith, effort, and self-respect. His poetry and philosophy remind us that education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but the awakening of the spirit.
Our students, through their eloquent speeches and recitations, beautifully expressed Iqbal’s message of self-awareness, unity, and perseverance. Their words reflected a deep understanding of Iqbal’s ideals and a heartfelt admiration for his dream of a strong, enlightened, and progressive youth.
As we celebrate this day, may every student be inspired to embody Iqbal’s message — to think deeply, act courageously, and serve selflessly. May our young prefects lead with wisdom and compassion, lighting the way for others to follow.
“Nations are born in the hearts of poets; they prosper and die in the hands of politicians.” – Allama Iqbal

“The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe.” — Gustave Flaubert
The Essay Writing Competition for Classes 7th to 10th has been successfully conducted on 25-10-2025 with great enthusiasm and participation from our talented students. Each essay reflected thoughtful ideas, creativity, and a deep understanding of the chosen themes. It was truly heartening to see our young writers express themselves with clarity, confidence, and imagination.
Essay writing is not merely an academic exercise, it is a journey of thought and reflection. It helps students develop critical thinking, logical organization, and effective communication skills, shaping them into articulate and informed individuals. As William Wordsworth beautifully said, “Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.”
We extend our sincere gratitude to our respected Principal, Rev. Sr. Lubna Aster Elias for her constant encouragement and for providing this wonderful opportunity to our students. Her support continues to inspire us to promote intellectual and creative growth in every learner.
