Build What Matters | Open House Successfully Concluded🚀

ORIC, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad, in collaboration with SEIC - Sindh Enterprise Incubation Center, successfully hosted the _Open House for Build What Matters today at SBBU-SBA. The event commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Muhammad Arif, Focal Person BIC.

We were honored to have Engr Prof. Dr. Madad Ali Shah, Vice Chancellor, SBBU-SBA as our Chief Guest, along with keynote speakers Mr. Umair Jaliawala, Motivational Speaker and Mr. Aizaz Fida, Director SEIC.

The worthy Vice Chancellor delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking address, emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship in fostering innovation and economic development.
Mr. Umair Jaliawala’s session was a masterpiece of pitching and motivation for students, filled with practical insights and energy that truly resonated with the audience.
Mr. Aizaz Fida also shared valuable perspectives on incubation and startup growth. The entire session was interactive and engaging, providing students and aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to learn, connect, and explore whether their ideas have the potential to become the next big startup.

The event was also graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Salman Bashir, Dean FMBA, Mr. Manzor Siyal, Director Procurement, Mr. Ashfaque Hussain, Director Finance, and Mr. Kashif Norani, Public Relations Officer, along with faculty members and a large number of students.

14th August, 2026:

*Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh*, celebrated the *79th Independence Day of Pakistan* with great national spirit, enthusiasm, and patriotism.💫🇵🇰

The *Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr Madad Ali Shah, hoisted the national flag* during the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, joined by Deans, Registrar, Directors, HODs, Faculty Members, Officers, Staff, and Students of the University.🇵🇰

On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor and other speakers *delivered inspiring speeches*, highlighting the importance of Pakistan’s independence, *national unity, peace, discipline, and collective responsibility*. They paid tribute to the sacrifices of the founders and emphasized the role of students and the university community in contributing to the development of Pakistan.🇵🇰

The ceremony reflected the spirit of unity, faith, discipline, and love for Pakistan.🇵🇰

🇵🇰 14th August Independence Day Celebration | Department of Information Technology

The Department of Information Technology, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad organized an exciting Project Exhibition as part of the 14th August Independence Day celebrations. 🇵🇰💚

The exhibition provided our talented students with an opportunity to showcase their innovative projects based on latest technologies, particularly around the theme “Pakistan & AI”, including AI Projects, Websites, AI Agents, and other technology-driven solutions.

The exhibition was inaugurated by *Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Madad Ali Shah*, who performed the *ribbon-cutting ceremony* and visited the students’ projects. He appreciated the creativity, innovation, and hard work of the students and encouraged them to continue exploring emerging technologies.

The celebration concluded with a *cake-cutting ceremony* to mark the spirit of Independence Day. 🎂🇵🇰

On this occasion, *Dr. Mairaj Nabi, Chairman, Department of IT,* appreciated the efforts and talent of the students and emphasized that the department will continue providing more opportunities for students to showcase their skills at national and international levels.

The event was successfully organized with the valuable support and participation of faculty members:
