BCCG Conducts Two-Week Guards Training
BCCG conducted a two-week training program for its guards to enhance security, discipline, and professional skills.
The training was held on the college campus and focused on vigilance, emergency response, physical fitness, and duty management. Through practical exercises and guided sessions, participants developed the skills required for effective security operations.The Principal Dr. Farida Shaikh stated that continuous professional development of support staff is essential for ensuring an efficient and secure campus environment.

BCCG Concludes 3-Day TPDP Phase II
Day 3, Saturday 23 May, 2026
The three-day Teachers Professional Development Program (TPDP) Phase II concluded at BCCG, with sessions focused on teacher wellbeing, student-centered learning, and professional growth.
During the academic sessions, Dr. Sana Hussain delivered a presentation on Wellbeing & Burnout Prevention, while Dr. Iffet Sultana conducted a session titled Beyond the Classroom: Teaching Minds, Not Just Subjects. Mr. Shuhabuddin Mallah, Director General of the Provincial Institute of Teacher Education (PITE) Sindh, attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and appreciated the institution’s efforts to strengthen professional learning among educators. Principal Dr. Farida Shaikh remarked, “Continuous professional development equips teachers with the vision and skills needed to nurture thoughtful, confident, and future-ready learners.”
The program concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony recognizing participants for their active engagement throughout the three-day training program.

BCCG Continues 3-Day TPDP: Phase II
Day 2 — Friday, 22 May 2026
Day two of the three-day Teachers Professional Development Program (TPDP) Phase II was held at BCCG to promote modern and effective teaching methodologies through expert-led academic sessions and interactive activities.
During the sessions, Ms. Rukhsana Qurban presented on Adaptive Teaching through Reflective Practices,& Mr. Zaheer Abbas Chang, Director of the Provincial Institute of Teacher Education, delivered a session on Teaching the Distracted Generation: Strategies for Attention, Engagement and Deep Learning.
To encourage interaction and hospitality, a friendly cricket match was organized in the evening, followed by a dinner in honor of the visiting guests.

BCCG Organizes 3-Day TPDP: Phase II Begins
A three-day Teachers Professional Development Program (TPDP) Phase II commenced at BCCG on 21 May 2026 to enhance modern teaching practices and classroom engagement.
During the sessions, Ms. Sumera Rajput delivered a presentation on The Invisible Curriculum in the Classroom, while Ms. Rahila Ashraf conducted a session on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in the Classroom. Principal Dr. Farida Shaikh welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of continuous professional growth in education. She remarked, “Effective teaching is shaped not only by subject knowledge but also by the ability to inspire confidence, empathy, and critical thinking among students.”
The program aimed to equip teachers with practical strategies for creating more inclusive and engaging learning environments.

BCCG holds Tree Plantation Drive
BCCG organized a tree plantation drive on 21 May 2026 under the project “Green Landscape Development and Management to Reduce Heat Wave Risk in District Shaheed Benazirabad” to commemorate 75 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.
Deputy Commissioner SBA Abdul Samad Nizamani inaugurated the campaign, attended by BoG member and Senior Vice President Engineer Mir Muhammad Siyal, PPP SBA President Muhammad Salim Zardari, PPP SBA Information Secretary Rashid Chandio, Divisional Forest Officer Mushtaq Ahmed Zardari, and faculty members. Principal Dr. Farida Sheikh said, “The initiative reflects BCCG’s commitment to a greener and healthier environment.”
During the campaign, 1,000 saplings of various species were planted across three acres near the hostel block, while 2,500 saplings will be planted across the campus.

BCCG Organizes Educational Visit to Karachi
BCCG organized a two-day educational visit to Karachi for faculty members from 16 to 17 May 2026 to encourage professional engagement and experiential learning.
During the tour, participants visited Pakistan Air Force Yacht Club, beach areas, and Lucky One Mall. Principal Dr. Farida Shaikh remarked, “Such educational visits broaden perspectives and strengthen professional collaboration beyond the classroom environment.”
The initiative highlighted BCCG’s commitment to promoting faculty enrichment through meaningful exposure and collaborative experiences.
