We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate with a background in Chemical Engineering to join our team for an innovative research project focused on process simulation, techno-economic analysis, GHG emissions, and socio-economic analysis. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute to strategic basic research that has the potential for long-term societal and economic impact.

🔹 Research Focus: Process simulation, economic analysis, GHG emissions and socioeconomic analysis
🔹 Duration: 4 years
🔹 Eligibility:
✅ Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (following a Bachelor's) from an accredited institution in an EU country
✅ Master’s degree obtained within the last 3 years (before 01 March 2025)
✅ Have a maximum of 18 months of scientific seniority by 01 March 2025

A Board of Studies (BoS) meeting was successfully held on 15th October 2024, chaired by Dr. Ahsanullah Soomro. The primary agenda was the review and implementation of the HEC/PEC revised curriculum-2023 for the B.E. Chemical Engineering program. The meeting focused on aligning the curriculum with current academic and industry standards to ensure students receive the most up-to-date education and practical skills
