The University of Sindh is the Oldest University of Pakistan, established in April, 1947 in order to impart quality education to the rural masses of Sindh. The University of Sindh has established its Campus at Naushahroferoze

in January—2014 on demand of people of the area. The establishment of Khan Bahadur Sysd Allahando Shah Sindh University Campus @ Naushahroferoze will facilitate increasing number of College students of Naushahroferoze who in-spite of their keen interest cannot pursue higher education in Jamshoro due to socio-economic constraints. The poverty is major problem of rural Sindh which is barrier for seeking higher education. Initially, the following three degree programs have been introduced to provide higher education opportunity to the students of Naushahroferoze and its surrounding areas.

JSQM leader found dead in Nosheroferoz
NOSHEROFEROZ: A Sindhi nationalist, leader of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Maqsood Ahmed Qureshi, was found dead in his car here on Friday.
The leader was brother of late chairman of the JSQM Bashir Khan Qureshi. His burnt dead body was found lying in his car near Bhiria Road. Another man, identified as Salman, was also killed in the incident.
Tension prevailed in many areas and cities of the province, including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Shahdadkot, Larkana, after the nationalist’s mysterious death.
Shops, markets and business activities were closed soon after the news reached in the above mentioned cities.
Meanwhile, the JSQM announced strike and mourning for tomorrow.
