To all my fellow educators and students heading into the new school year
let's promise to choose our well-being a little more often this year.
It is okay to step away, it is okay to rest, and it is
absolutely okay to say no.
Let's make mental health the priority.

Teaching all day takes every bit of my social battery, so this is exactly what my "after-hours" looks like. 🔋✨
I love my students, but once that final bell rings, I'm ready to retreat to my quiet little bubble. Give me a good book, some fresh air, a very small inner circle, and a long chat with my cat, and I’m happy. 🥰🌲
Any other introverted teachers out there who need a serious quiet-reset to recharge? 🙋‍♀️💛

Teaching is an absolute dream, but nobody warns you about the introverted nightmares hidden in the job description! 😅🌸

Being an introvert doesn't mean you can't be an amazing teacher
it just means your social battery drains in a very specific way! 🔋✨
