Tribute to the Martyrs of APS Peshawar

In solemn remembrance of the innocent martyrs of Army Public School, Peshawar, the management of Government Boys High School Brarkot, Muzaffarabad organized a deeply moving and heartfelt tribute program on 16 December 2025. The event stood as a powerful expression of national solidarity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to peace and unity.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Sector Commander ISPR, Brigadier Tariq Sohail, while the honourable guests included Additional Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education AJK, Mr. Tahir Masood Chughtai, District Education Officer, Mr. Khawaja Naeem Ahmad, Principal Government Boys High School Brarkot, Mr. Muhammad Amin Afsar, members of the AJK Boys Scout Association, along with respected teachers and students from various schools of the vicinity. The program was hosted by Senior Teacher Syed Aqeel Hussain Kazmi.
Students paid glowing tribute to the martyrs of APS Peshawar through emotionally powerful tableaus, patriotic national songs, and thought-provoking declamations, which touched the hearts of all present and reminded the audience of the supreme sacrifices made for the nation. The worthy guests highly appreciated the confidence, discipline, and patriotic spirit of the students and motivated them to remain steadfast in the pursuit of education, unity, and national service.
District Education Officer, Mr. Khawaja Naeem Ahmad, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and expressed gratitude to all honourable guests, teachers, and students for their participation. He particularly appreciated the dedicated efforts of Principal Muhammad Amin Afsar and the entire teaching staff for organizing such a meaningful and well-coordinated event.
Additional Secretary Education, Mr. Tahir Masood Chughtai, paid rich tribute to the martyrs of APS Peshawar and reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to build a strong, resilient, and unbeatable Pakistan, emphasizing that sacrifices of our martyrs will never go in vain.
Principal Government Boys High School Brarkot, Mr. Muhammad Amin Afsar, expressed heartfelt homage to the martyrs and appreciated the collective efforts of the nation in building a safe, peaceful, and harmonious society, where such tragic incidents will not occur in the future. He also extended sincere thanks to the distinguished guests for honouring the event with their presence.
In his inspiring address, Chief Guest Brigadier Tariq Sohail paid profound tribute to the martyrs of APS Peshawar and commended the teachers, students, and organizers for arranging such a dignified and impactful programme. He emphasized the importance of national unity, harmony, and collective responsibility, vowing that Pakistan will emerge strong enough to lead the world. He also reaffirmed the unwavering commitment to the freedom of Indian Occupied Kashmir and urged the nation to remain united and resolute for this just cause. Moreover, he highlighted and appreciated the historic role of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Syed Ghulam Hassan Kazmi, as Kashmiris, in the creation and naming of Pakistan.
The programme concluded with renewed determination, patriotic spirit, and prayers for the eternal peace of the martyrs, leaving a lasting impact on all participants and reaffirming the nation’s pledge: We remember, we stand united, and we shall prevail.
