Mr Khalid Sagheer, a prominent businessman of Multan, member college council brought and planted one sapling of Kanghi Palm at this college. Another plant of guava was also planted by the faculty and the principal today!

A seminar was organized today under the auspices of Department of Sociology Government Graduate College Civil Lines Multan. The topic of seminar was
"Increaseing Trend of Intolerance in Society ( Remedies )".

Prof. Dr. Ayesha Khan, Chairperson of Women University Department of Sociology, Prof. Dr. Saima Munir and Prof. Dr. Amina Mushtaq addressed the ceremony.

Principal Prof. Dr. Zia Ahmed thanked the guest and appreciated the efforts of Sociology Department's Prof. Muzakar Ahmad Rana, Head of the Department and Prof. Ali Murad, with whose efforts this seminar was held.

Teachers and students appreciated these efforts and expressed the belief that it will benefit the students in practical life.

After the seminar, the guest also participated in the plantation drive in the college.

Deputy Director Colleges Multan Prof Ahmar Rauf visited the college and along with Principal Prof Dr Zia Ahmed and staff members planted a sapling for the tree plantation campaign.

آج کالج میں ہائر ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ گورنمنٹ آف پنجاب کی ہدایات پر تین روزہ تقریبات بسلسلہ قرارداد پاکستان کا آغاز ہوا۔

ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پولیٹیکل سائنس نے کالج میں ایک سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا۔ جس کے صدارت ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر کالجز پروفیسر احمر رؤف اور پرنسپل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ضیا احمد نے کی۔

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسماء اکبر چیئر پرسن ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پولیٹیکل سائنس وومن یونیورسٹی ملتان نے مہمان خصوصی کی حیثیت سے تقریب میں شرکت کی اور قرارداد پاکستان سے متعلق حاضرین سے خصوصی خطاب کیا۔

سیمینار کے بعد ایک ریلی نکالی گئی جس میں طلبہ اور اساتذہ نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔

پرنسپل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ضیا احمد نے مہمانوں کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور تقریب کے آرگنائزرز چیئرمین ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پولیٹیکل سائنس پروفیسر فیصل عباس ہاشمی اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالمعید کامران کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔

On the instructions of Government of Punjab Higher Education Department, Principal Professor Dr. Zia Ahmed along with the staff members started the plantation drive in the college.

A seminar was organized under the vision of Govt. Of the Punjab under the slogan of PLANT TREES FOR PAKISTAN. Students were elaborated that trees cause cooling effects in the environment, reduce pollution, re**rd weather patterns.

Today, a seminar was organized by women teachers in the college on the occasion of International Women's Day. In which Professor Zubaidah Javed addressed the women regarding International Women's Day.

Alhamdulillah another great achievement by Govt. Graduate College, Civil Lines Multan. The very talented student of the college, Mr. Hamza Zafar, secured 2nd position in the whole South Punjab region in English Essay Writing Competition 2024 held on 07-03-2024.
