Department of Commerce – Industrial Visit to Haier Pakistan

As part of its academic-industry linkage initiative, the Department of Commerce, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, arranged an industrial visit to Haier Pakistan. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khawar Naheed, Dr. Ammara Akram, Mr. Saif Ullah Qureshi, and Mr. Waqar Arshad.

The visit offered an inspiring overview of contemporary business practices, emphasizing the integration of advanced technology and innovation in appliance manufacturing. The delegation specifically visited the refrigerator manufacturing unit, where they observed the design, assembly, and quality assurance processes that prioritize operational efficiency and consumer-centric approaches. Furthermore, the exposure highlighted Haier’s stringent quality standards and its distinguished position in the global market.

The experience proved highly enlightening, enabling future business professionals to contextualize theoretical concepts within the framework of international industrial operations.

Department of Commerce – Industrial Visit to Sazgar Engineering Works Limited

As part of its academic-industry linkage initiative, the Department of Commerce, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, arranged an industrial visit to Sazgar Engineering Works Limited. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khawar Naheed, Dr. Ammara Akram, Mr. Saif Ullah Qureshi, and Mr. Waqar Arshad.

The visit offered a comprehensive exposure to the automotive manufacturing industry, emphasizing the role of modern technology, proficient workforce, and systematic production methodologies in vehicle assembly. Observing the operational framework and assembly line mechanisms provided students with practical insight into industrial management, innovation practices, and large-scale manufacturing operations.

The experience significantly contributed to enhancing students’ understanding of real-world industrial processes and their alignment with academic principles.

Department of Commerce – Industrial Tour to Norrowtex PVT ltd

The Department of Commerce, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, organized an industrial tour to Narotex Textile Industry with the objective of bridging academic concepts with practical exposure. The tour was conducted under the supervision of esteemed faculty members, Mr. SaifUllah Qureshi , Mr .Waqar Arshad , Prof. Dr khawar Naheed , Dr Ammara Akram.

Our visit to Narotex offered a valuable insight into the dynamics of the textile sector, where adherence to quality, precision, and innovation remains paramount. The delegation observed the entire production cycle, from the processing of raw materials to the manufacturing of finished products, thereby gaining first-hand knowledge of operational efficiency and compliance with international manufacturing standards.

The tour proved to be an intellectually enriching experience, enabling students to correlate theoretical frameworks with real-world industrial practices in the textile domain.
