*A meaningful step forward for the research culture at NFC IET Multan.*

The first meeting of the Editorial Board of the Multidisciplinary Journal of Engineering Science & Technology (MJEST) was held at the Vice Chancellor's Committee Room, NFC IET Multan.
The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Shabbar Atiq. The Board comprising of international faculty members from UK, TURKEY, TIWAN, MALAYSIA, approved the journal's Aims & Scope, Guidelines for Authors, the Peer Review & Publication Ethics Policy, the publication schedule, and the timeline for the first Call for Papers.
Sincere thanks to the Vice Chancellor for his support, and to all national and international Board members for their valuable participation.

🇵🇰 79th Independence Day Celebrated at NFC-IET Multan 🇵🇰

NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology (NFC-IET), Multan, proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with a flag-hoisting ceremony, carried out by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq.

The ceremony was attended by faculty members and staff, who came together to commemorate the historic day and reaffirm their commitment to the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice Chancellor prayed for the peace, prosperity, and continued development of the country. He emphasized that every individual, particularly the youth, has a vital role to play in nation building. He urged the youth to contribute their efforts, work with dedication and responsibility, and remain mindful of the sacrifices made by their ancestors for the independence of Pakistan.

He stressed that understanding and remembering these sacrifices is essential for nurturing a sense of responsibility, patriotism, and commitment towards the country.

Digital Literacy & Economic Awareness Workshop Successfully Conducted at NFCIET Multan

The Directorate of Student Affairs, NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology (NFCIET) Multan successfully organized the Digital Literacy & Economic Awareness Workshop on 5 August.
The event brought together enthusiastic students to enhance their understanding of digital literacy and reliable economic information, promoting informed decision-making and community development.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. During the ceremony, he acknowledged the valuable collaboration and contributions of the Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) and presented a commemorative shield as a token of appreciation. In his address, he encouraged students to actively participate in such knowledge-driven initiatives that empower youth with practical skills and awareness.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all partners, organizers, resource persons, and participants for making the workshop a success. Participation certificates were distributed among the students in recognition of their active engagement and commitment to learning. The Directorate of Student Affairs remains dedicated to organizing impactful academic and professional development activities that prepare students to become informed, responsible, and future-ready citizens.

A farewell party was organized in honor of Mr. Kashmira Masih to recognize his 39 years of dedicated service at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (NFC IET), Multan.
During the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq paid tribute to Mr. Kashmira Masih's remarkable commitment, sincerity, and invaluable contributions to the institute over nearly four decades. He appreciated his hard work and wished him good health, happiness, and success in his retired life.
The event was attended by all Heads of Departments (HODs), principal officers, directors and administrative staff, who gathered to express their gratitude and extend their best wishes. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a commemorative shield and group photographs, making it a memorable occasion in recognition of Mr. Kashmira Masih's service and dedication.
