Department of Environmental Sciences Achieves Accreditation Milestone!
It is a moment of immense pride and accomplishment for The Women University Multan to announce that the BS Environmental Sciences degree program has been officially accredited by the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC), HEC Islamabad, and has been awarded Category “X3” based on rigorous evaluation and quality standards.
To commemorate this achievement, a certificate distribution ceremony was organized at the university campus, where the Worthy Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Kalsoom Paracha, graciously presented the accreditation certificate to Dr. Saima Nasreen, Chairperson of the Department of Environmental Sciences.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of the university’s distinguished leadership, including Dr. Malika Rani, Registrar and Director QEC, Dr. Kanwal Rehman, Director ORIC, Dr. Hina Ali, Controller of Examinations, and Dr. Sara Mussadiq, Treasurer.
The event served as a recognition of the department’s persistent dedication to educational excellence, curriculum development, faculty commitment, and student-centered academic growth. The esteemed members congratulated the faculty and students for achieving this significant milestone. Dr. Kousar Parveen is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at The Women University Multan, specializing in nanomaterials, hybrid materials, membranes, and wastewater treatment. She worked and trained in a high-tech laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and ALBA Synchrotron, Spain.

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has announced the 2025 Fulbright Student Program for Master's and PhD studies in the United States. This prestigious scholarship covers tuition, textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, health insurance, visa fees, a computer, and a settling-in allowance.
