Strengthening Legal Awareness and Institutional Compliance at FAST-NUCES Multan Campus

FAST-NUCES Multan Campus organized a Legal and Professional Training Session for its faculty and staff, conducted by Mr. Ghulam Fareed, University Legal Advisor, in collaboration with Mr. Yasir Nazir, Manager Registrar Office, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz, Campus Director. The session focused on enhancing awareness of the University's legal framework, institutional policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory responsibilities to ensure compliance with established rules and professional standards.
During the interactive session, Mr. Ghulam Fareed and Mr. Yasir Nazeer also engaged with the Heads of Departments, Heads of various Campus Committees, Assistant Professors, and other faculty members. The discussion covered key legal procedures, governance mechanisms, examination conduct, invigilation protocols, committee responsibilities, and institutional SOPs, providing valuable guidance on ensuring transparency, compliance, and effective implementation of University regulations.

Such initiatives reflect FAST-NUCES Multan Campus's continued commitment to strengthening institutional governance, promoting legal awareness, and fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability.

Prof. Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz, Campus Director, visited AM-99 Hospital, DHA Multan, where he held a productive meeting with Brig. (R) Asif Mahmood, Chairman, AM-99 Group. Following the meeting, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz toured the hospital and visited its various departments to observe the state-of-the-art healthcare facilities and services. The visit provided an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the hospital's operational excellence and patient care practices.

The meeting also featured a constructive discussion on potential avenues for future collaboration, with a particular focus on strengthening industry-academia linkages, fostering mutual cooperation, and exploring opportunities that would benefit both institutions through knowledge sharing, student engagement, and professional development initiatives. The hospital management also expressed its willingness to collaborate with FAST-NUCES by facilitating community engagement initiatives and arranging guest speaker sessions for students.
