Every year September 15 is observed International Day of Democracy. Minority Rights Commission (MRC) organized a Seminar on Strengthening Democracy to discuss the current political crises in the country and way forward in Rahim Yar Khan. The speakers said that they will resist if any un-constitutional step is taken as a resolve of the current political crisis. They stressed that the democratic process should be continued. People from all walks of life such as intellectual, thinkers, political leaders, human rights activists, advocates, journalists, religious leaders, social workers, community leaders, women, youth and members of civil society organizations attended the seminar and supported the democracy.

Minority Rights Commission (MRC) organized Save Democracy Conference, Multan on 7th January 2012. This activity arranged by MRC gave strength to the mainstream political parties to continue this democratic process for the progress of Pakistanis. Civil society and political activists issued a declaration after this conference in which it was demanded to save democracy in Pakistan.
Today we also support Democratic and civilian government in Pakistan.
