December, 2023! Department of Human Nutrition RIMS Multan Organised a workshop on "Constipation Prevention and Control" Where Dn. Tasnim Ali (Head of Nutrition Department Buch International Hospital Multan) Trained the Nutrition Professionals about Constipation Prevention & Dn. Syed Muhammad Ilyas Shah (Head of Nutrition Department RIMS Multan) organized this activity for Nutritionists. This activity explores the essence of Constipation Awareness Month, knowing its history, ways to celebrate, and activities that promote awareness. As aspiring medical professionals, recognizing the importance of digestive health contributes to a holistic understanding of the human body, aligning with the principles of comprehensive healthcare. “Constipation is a common gastrointestinal disorder that affects individuals of all ages. Its prevalence in children is 29.6%, while it is around 20% in the general population. The elderly are more likely than younger people to experience constipation.
