✨🏞️WUM Vice Chancellor Inaugurates Faculty Food Corner at Katchery Campus Canteen
Vice Chancellor, The Women University Multan, Prof. Dr. Syeda Shahida Batool, inaugurated a dedicated Faculty Food Corner at the Katchery Campus canteen, an initiative taken under her leadership to provide faculty members with a comfortable and pleasant space for dining and relaxation during working hours.
The Faculty Food Corner has been developed as a separate, well-organized seating and dining area within the canteen, providing faculty members with a convenient and welcoming environment. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor said that the well-being of faculty and the provision of appropriate workplace facilities are important for fostering a positive and productive academic environment.
Following the inauguration, the Vice Chancellor inspected the canteen and reviewed food quality and quantity, cleanliness, hygiene and overall service standards. She directed the canteen management to maintain consistent food quality, adequate portions and strict hygiene standards.
Prof. Dr. Syeda Shahida Batool emphasized that the University would continue to improve campus facilities to ensure a healthy, comfortable and conducive environment for its academic community.Later, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syeda Shahida Batool and Prof. Dr. Syeda Azra Batool, Professor School of Economics, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, planted a tree at the Katchery Campus. The Vice Chancellor emphasized that universities must lead efforts towards environmental sustainability and a greener future, while Prof. Dr. Syeda Azra Batool highlighted that tree plantation is a meaningful investment in environmental protection and the well-being of future generations
