Department of Human Nutrition BZU Multan

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف کی ہدایات پر شہباز شریف ڈی ایچ کیو ہسپتال ملتان میں 3 روزہ خصوصی سکریننگ کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر ملتان محمد نعمان صدیق، ڈاکٹر تنزیل الرحمٰن (ایم ایس شہباز شریف ہسپتال ملتان) اور ڈاکٹر خرم افضل (چیئرمین ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف ہیومن نیوٹریشن، بہاءالدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان) نے کیمپ کا دورہ کیا اور عوام کو فراہم کی جانے والی غذائی و طبی سہولیات کا جائزہ لیا۔

کیمپ میں شہریوں کے لیے موٹاپا، شوگر، اضافی چربی اور جسمانی کمزوری سے متعلق مفت غذائی مشاورت، باڈی ماس انڈیکس، بلڈ شوگر، بلڈ پریشر اور دیگر غذائی معائنے کیے گئے۔

یہ اقدام صحت مند معاشرے اور غذائی آگاہی کے فروغ کی جانب ایک اہم قدم ہے۔

*One Day Nutritional Health Assessment and Awareness Session*
We are honored to announce that under the best oversight of *Dr. Muhammad Khurram Afzal Chairman, Department of Human Nutrition, Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition BZU, Multan and Mr.Mohsin Mubarak Principal, Multan Public School and Colleges Multan* ( Boys Campus) organized a joint Health activity
*Nutritional Health Assessment & Awareness Session* at Multan Public School and College Multan.

This activity gone through
- Complete Nutritional Assessment of Students.
- Dietary Assessment for Body health.
- Diet Plan for Balanced Diet.
- Diet Charts to improve Eating Habits.
- Dietary Recommendations.
This activity was also well managed by ZNS BZU Multan and special thanks to Mr.Mohsin Nawaz Khan, Dietitian Mr. Muhammad Waqas Hashim, Mr.Muhammad Talha Iqbal, Mr.Naeem Sarwar Chauhan, Ms. Sara Saeed , Ms Shazia Akram and all other participants specially BS HND final year students and 3rd Semester, who made this event successful.

Today Safe City team visited the Department of Human Nutrition, Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition, BZU, Multan under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz Dean , Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition and Dr. M. Khurram Afzal Chairman, Department of Human Nutrition,
Prof. Dr. M. Touseef Sultan, Prof. Dr. Aneela Hameed and Dr. Tariq Ismail also participated, the safe city team conducted a briefing on the Public Safety App.

Department of Human Nutrition, BZU Multan, organized *NUTRITIONAL ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY* for BS HND 3rd semester students. Under the supervision of Chairman Dr. Muhammad Khurram Afzal, students gained valuable insights into assessing the clients’ nutritional health status.
Thanks to Mr. Muhammad Waqas Hashim , Dr. Nimra Tariq , Naeem Sarwar Chauhan, Ms. Shazia , Ms. Ghadia and and all teachers of the department of Human Nutrition for organizing this practical activity !
