سالِ نو 2025 اپنے آخری ایّام کی طرف بڑھ رہا ہے۔ یہ وہ بہترین وقت ہے جب ہم پورے سال کو ریفلیکٹ کریں کہ ہم نے 2024 میں جو سوچا تھا، جو گولز بنائے تھے_کیا وہ گولز ہم حاصل کرسکے؟اگر نہیں تو اس کی کیا وجوہات تھیں کہ ہم مطلوبہ نتائج تک نہیں پہنچ سکے؟خود احتسابی اور ریفلیکشن ہماری ترقی کا اہم حصہ ہے۔

ریسرچ بتاتی ہے کہ:
• 83% لوگوں کی زندگی میں کوئی گولز نہیں ہوتے
• 14% لوگ صرف ذہن میں گول بناتے ہیں
• جبکہ صرف 3% لوگوں کے پاس written گولز ہوتے ہیں

اور حیرت انگیز طور پر، یہی 3% لوگ زندگی میں باقی 97% کے مقابلے میں کہیں زیادہ کامیابی حاصل کرتے ہیں۔

میں گزشتہ 5 سال سے خود بھی باقاعدگی کے ساتھ اپنے گولز لکھ رہا ہوں اور مسلسل 4 سال سے گیریزن پبلک لائبریری میں نئے سال کی پلاننگ پر نہایت شاندار سیشن منعقد کرتا آرہا ہوں تاکہ ہم سب مل کر اپنے اگلے سال کو مزید قیمتی اور بامقصد بنا سکیں۔

خوف (Fear) انسان کے اندر موجود اعتماد، جرات، اور فیصلہ کرنے کی صلاحیت کو کم کر دیتا ہے۔ جب انسان ڈر جاتا ہے تو وہ قدم اٹھانے سے پہلے ہی ہار مان لیتا ہے، اور یہی رویہ کامیابی کے راستے میں سب سے بڑی رکاوٹ بن جاتا ہے۔
فرض کریں ایک طالب علم ہے احمد اور
اسےانگریزی بولنے کا بہت شوق ہے، مگر اسے یہ خوف ہے کہ اگر میں کلاس میں بولوں گا تو شاید مجھ سے غلطی ہو جائے، اور سب مجھ پر ہنسیں گے۔
اسی خوف کی وجہ سے وہ کبھی کوشش نہیں کرتا، کلاس میں خاموش رہتا ہے، اور اس کی بولنے کی صلاحیت بہتر نہیں ہو پاتی۔

اب دوسری طرف اس کا دوست علی ہے۔
علی بھی ابتدا میں غلطیاں کرتا ہے، مگر اسے ڈر نہیں لگتا۔ وہ ہنستا ہے، سیکھتا ہے، اور بار بار بولنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے۔ چند مہینوں میں علی کی انگریزی روانی سے بہتر ہو جاتی ہے اور وہ کلاس میں نمایاں ہو جاتا ہے۔

احمد کی ناکامی کی وجہ خوف تھی، اور علی کی کامیابی کی وجہ حوصلہ اور عمل لہٰذا کہا جا سکتا ہے کہ:

“خوف انسان کو کوشش سے روکتا ہے، اور کوشش کے بغیر کامیابی ممکن نہیں۔”
