Mst. Zahida Batool, Director Public Instruction (SE), South Punjab, visited Government High School Islamia Aam Khas Bagh, Government Girls High School Islamia Daulat Gate, and Government High School Muslim, District Multan, to inspect SMU construction works.

At Government High School Islamia Aam Khas Bagh, construction of five Additional Classrooms was in progress, with DPC completed and masonry work up to 8 feet. The Headteacher was directed to ensure quality and timely completion.

At Government Girls High School Islamia Daulat Gate and Government High School Muslim, construction had not yet started. The Deputy Chief Supervisor, Multan Division, was directed to ensure immediate commencement of work.

The Matric Examination Marking Centre at Government High School Muslim was also inspected, where arrangements were found satisfactory.

Mst. Zahida Batool, Director of Public Instructions (Secondary Education), South Punjab, chaired a meeting to review the progress of the construction of additional classrooms, boundary walls, and toilet blocks in District Multan under the School Education Department's Strategic Management Unit (SMU).
The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer (District Education Authority), Multan, the District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Multan, the Deputy District Education Officer (Male), Multan Saddar, the Divisional Deputy Chief Engineer (SMU), along with his technical team.
During the meeting, the progress of all ongoing development schemes was reviewed in detail. The Chief Executive Officer (DEA), Multan, was directed to ensure that real-time work progress, supported by authentic pictorial evidence, is uploaded regularly on the SMU Dashboard.
The Chair categorically directed that the uploading of fake, manipulated, advance-dated, or irrelevant pictorial evidence on the SMU Dashboard is strictly prohibited. Any officer or official found involved in such malpractice shall be liable for disciplinary proceedings, and appropriate action under the relevant rules shall be initiated by the competent authority.

Mst. Zahida Batool, DPI (SE), South Punjab, Multan, visited GHSS Comprehensive, Multan, to review the precautionary and safety measures adopted by the school administration in view of the ongoing monsoon spell during the month of July.
During the visit, the undersigned inspected the school's AI Robotics Lab, where the Principal briefed the undersigned on its facilities and functioning. It was shared that 103 students are currently enrolled in the Matric Tech programme and are actively utilizing the lab to enhance their practical knowledge and technical skills.
The undersigned appreciated the efforts of the school administration in promoting modern, technology-based education and encouraged them to continue providing quality learning opportunities to students.
The undersigned also visited the BISE Technical Examination Centre established at the school and reviewed the examination arrangements. The examination process was found to be well organized and was being conducted in a transparent, fair, and peaceful manner in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

Our hearts are broken with profound grief on devastating incident at home tuition center in Kahn-a resulting in loss of 14 innocent minor & young students and 5 to 6 severely injured ones under treatment.
These bright young souls carried dreams, hopes, and limitless potential Their untimely departure is an immeasurable loss to their families, teachers, friends, and the entire community. No words can truly ease the pain of such a heartbreaking tragedy.
We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray that the Almighty grants them strength, patience, and comfort during this difficult time. May the departed souls rest in eternal peace, and may their memories remain a source of inspiration and love.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this profound tragedy.
