Government Postgraduate College Mirpur celebrated Pakistan's Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The festivities began with a flag-hoisting ceremony, led by Principal Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed. During the ceremony, Principal Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed also planted a tree, symbolizing the college's commitment to growth and sustainability. The event was attended by all staff members, who joined in the celebrations with patriotic fervor.

شعبہ علومِ اسلامیہ، القادر یونی ورسٹی ،سوہاوہ نے دو روزہ
(5 اور 6اکتوبر) آل پاکستان انٹر کالجز مقابلہ حُسنِ نعت اور مقابلہ حسن تقریر کا اہتمام کیا ۔جس میں لاہور، اسلام آباد، سوہاوہ، جہلم، دینہ، گوجر خان اور دیگر شہروں کے سرکاری وغیر سرکاری کالجز اور مدارس کے طلبہ نے شرکت کی ۔ گورنمنٹ کالج میرپور کے طالب علم احتشام فاروق(بی ایس اردو، سمسٹر :ششم) نے مقابلہ حسن نعت میں تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی اور/8000کی انعامی رقم کے حق دار ٹھہرے۔مقابلہ حسن تقریر میں صیام آصف (ایف اے، سال دوم) نے بھی تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی - انھیں بھی/8000روپے کی انعامی رقم دی گئی ۔القادر یونی ورسٹی کی انتظامیہ نے گورنمنٹ کالج میرپور کے طالب علموں کی محنت کو سراہا اور پروفیسر عابد محمود عابد کو مبارک پیش کی ۔ڈاکٹر پروفیسر اشفاق احمد (پرنسپل) اور اساتذہ کو اس شان دار کام یابی پر خصوصی مبارک ہو ۔

( )کیپٹن حسین خان شہید گورنمنٹ پوسٹ گریجویٹ کالج راولاکوٹ میں 24-ستمبر 2022 کو بین الکلیاتی مباحثہ بعنوان:"زوال بندہ مومن کا بے زری سے نہیں "منعقد ہُوا۔جس میں آزاد کشمیر بھر کے نمایاں تعلیمی اداروں کے طلبا و طالبات نے حصّہ لیا۔منصفین کے فیصلے کے مطابق گورنمنٹ کالج میرپور کے طالب علم صیام آصف (ایف اے) نے دوسری پوزیشن حاصل کی ۔
