Turkey is an Islamic and Secular state. It is one of those countries that come under the sanctions of America. The major cause of sanctions is the Turkey’s detention of Christian Priest, Andrew Brunson in the case of failed army insurrection in 05/07/2016. Turkish courts proved him of guilty that he supported the coup, but America rejects this conviction and demands his release. But Turkey doesn’t accept this demand, resulting day by day sanctions by America that have caused colossal damage to its economy and thousands of companies are under auction. In spite of these entire situations, Turkey is strict in its decision.
Once Turkey was base of Ottoman Caliphate, a powerful body of its time but then this Caliphate was destroyed by the British Empire under “Armistice Treaty”, making the end of Ottoman Caliphate after First World War. This move by Britain caused a line of sorrow in the Muslims heart which led to many types of strikes in different part of the world including India, but violence was stopped when the leader of Ottoman Caliphate, Kamal Attaturk announced its end and formed a modern Turkey with secular thoughts. From then Turkey have come up with different leaders, the best and accepted leader of Turkey, not only by domestic people but also by the whole world is Tayyed Erdogan, the current President. He always tries to bring Muslims world in a stage and to make a strong entity, but failed because of the countries which are puppet of America; don’t give any concentration to his agenda.
It is thought that main reason for sanctions on Turkey by America is due to the concept of Tayyed Erdogan of unity among Muslim states, which is unacceptable for America and the western countries, because unity among the Muslims can pose them serious challenges. America has created violence in many Muslim countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya and is stealing their natural resources, because Allah Almighty has provided Muslim States a lot of natural resources. So if all the Muslim states will unite, what will be the pockets of America?
Now Turkey is standing alone with its great leader. It needs support form all the Muslim world. Currently only one Muslim leader, Tayyed Erdogan who is matching eye-to-eye with America. We need few more leaders like him.
