Solidarity with the Women of Kunan Poshpora Kashmiri Women Resistance Day – Walkby SOYL and Department of Education

Every Year 23 Feb is marked as Kashmiri Wopmen’s Resistance Day to remember the mass rapes committed by the Indian Army in Kunan Poshpora IOJK in 1991. Society of Young Leaders (SOYL) and Department of Education arranged a Solidarity walk on campus. Faculty members and the students from department of Education , Institute of Islamic Studies took part in great number. Participants condemned Human Rights violations and War Crimes committed by Indian Forces in IOJK including Kunan Poshpora. Participants demanded UN and the International community to take notice of Indian Atrocities in IOJK and resolve Kashmir issue in the light of UNSC Resolution. Participants paid tribute to Victim Women of Kunan Poshpora and raised slogans against Indian Armed forces.
