In this STEAM Club session, Grade 8 students
performed a hands-on science experiment on
water filtration. They started by creating a
mixture of soil and water. Using a funnel and
filter paper, the students demonstrated how to
separate insoluble particles from the liquid.
Each student participated in setting up the
apparatus and observed how the filter paper
traps the residue while allowing the clear
filtrate to pass through. This activity helped
them understand practical applications of
separation techniques in daily life and
improved their scientific observation skills
