Prime Minister's Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, University of Swat, organized an awareness session regarding Two SDGs Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
The GYM Club Team visited the Government Girls Degree College Madyan Swat on March 20, 2024. The Team was led by Dr. Sher Shah (Focal Person GYM) and Ms. Shazia (OC member GYM). Ms. Shazia briefed the students about the theme and objective of the Green Youth Movement club. The students were lectured through informative videos and power point slides about the nature conservation and ecotourism of the Swat Region. Around 150 students of the college participated in the activity. Dr. Imran (Focal Person, YDC/KJM) extended thanks to the worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher for his continuous support to the YDC, GYM club activities within the University as well as schools and colleges.

یونیورسٹی آف سوات میں عالمی یوم ماحولیات کے حوالے پروقار تقریب کا اہتمام،ماحولیات کے حوالے ماڈلز کی نمائش و آگاہی واک کاانعقاد،وائس چانسلر سوات یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسن شیر اور وائس چانسلر یونیورسٹی آف ملاکنڈ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رشید احمد نے خصوصی شرکت کی،تفصیلات کے مطابق یونیورسٹی آف سوات مین کیمپس میں عالمی یوم ماحولیات، 5 جون 2023 کو، شعبہ سوشل اینڈ جینڈر اسٹڈیز، یونیورسٹی آف سوات نے پاکستان کونسل آف ورلڈ ریلیجنز-ایف ایف، گرین یوت مومنٹ کلب اور لاسونا کے اشتراک سے منایا۔ اس سلسلے میں یونیورسٹی آف سوات میں سیمینار، ماڈلز کی نمائش اور آگاہی واک کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ یونیورسٹی آف سوات کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسن شیر مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ طلباء اور اساتذہ کے علاوہ اس موقع پر دیگر مہمانوں میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رشید احمد، وائس چانسلر، ملاکنڈ یونیورسٹی، قاری روح اللہ مدنی، چیئرمین PCWR-FF پشاور، جناب اعظم خان، ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر لاسونہ، مس خدیجہ بانو، فوکل پرسن گرین یوت مومنٹ کلب ڈاکٹر شیرشاہ اور چیف آرگنائزر ڈاکٹر عمران شامل تھیں۔ وائس چانسلرپروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسن شیر نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ عالمی یوم ماحولیات ایک ضروری موقع ہے جو عالمی سطح پر ماحولیاتی تحفظ اور پائیدار طریقوں کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرتا ہے۔ یہ آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ماحول کے تحفظ اور تحفظ کی ہماری مشترکہ ذمہ داری کی یاد دہانی کے طور پر کام کرتا ہے۔ یہ دن افراد، کمیونٹیز اور تنظیموں کے لیے ایک موقع فراہم کرتا ہے کہ وہ اکٹھے ہوں اور ماحولیاتی مسائل جیسے کہ موسمیاتی تبدیلی، جنگلات کی کٹائی، آلودگی اور حیاتیاتی تنوع کے نقصان کے بارے میں بیداری پیدا کریں۔ عالمی یوم ماحولیات منا کر، ہم سیارے کی صحت کے ساتھ اپنے اعمال کے باہمی ربط کو تسلیم کرتے ہیں اور ان چیلنجوں سے نمٹنے کے لیے اجتماعی کارروائی کی فوری ضرورت کو تسلیم کرتے ہیں۔

Green Youth Movement Club stall displayed at main campus University of Swat to welcome the forthcoming students and to educate them about the green activities of GYM club. Around students registered as new GYM Club members and the GYM Club crossed a total of 400 registered members. Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr. Hassan Sher appreciated the efforts of GYM Club Focal person Dr.Sher Shah, Dr Hazrat Bilal Focal Person Kamyab Jawan Markaz and the GYM Club members.
The GYM club UOS will resume their activities after 19 September 2022.

اپر سوات:یونیورسٹی آف سوات میں گرین یوتھ مومنٹ کلب، فاریسٹری ڈیپارٹمنٹ اور اینوارنمنٹل پروٹیکشن سوسائٹی کے تعاون سے مون سون شجر کاری مہم کے تحت مختلف پودا جات لگائے گئے۔ جس میں یونیورسٹی کے سٹاف کیسات محکمہ جنگلات اور ای پی ایس کے نمایندوں نے شرکت کی۔
