ایک شخص کی ملاقات ایک رومی فلسفی سے ہوئی۔ فلسفی نے اسے اپنے ساتھ کھانے کی دعوت دی۔ جب وہ شوربہ پینے لگا تو اسے پیالے میں سانپ جیسی کوئی چیز دکھائی دی۔ وہ مہمان نوازی اور شرمندگی کے باعث کچھ کہہ نہ سکا اور خاموشی سے پورا شوربہ پی گیا۔
گھر پہنچنے کے بعد وہ مسلسل اسی خیال میں مبتلا رہا کہ شاید اس نے واقعی سانپ ملا شوربہ پی لیا ہے۔ اسی وہم نے اس کے دل و دماغ پر ایسا اثر ڈالا کہ رات ہوتے ہوتے اس کے پیٹ میں شدید درد شروع ہو گیا اور وہ ساری رات بے چین رہا۔
اگلی صبح وہ علاج کی غرض سے فلسفی کے پاس پہنچا۔ فلسفی نے مسکرا کر بتایا کہ شوربے میں کوئی سانپ نہیں تھا۔ دراصل چھت پر بنی ایک تصویر کا عکس پیالے میں پڑ رہا تھا، جسے اس نے سانپ سمجھ لیا تھا۔ جب دوبارہ شوربہ لا کر دکھایا گیا تو وہی عکس پھر نظر آ گیا اور حقیقت اس پر آشکار ہو گئی۔
جونہی اسے معلوم ہوا کہ سانپ کا وجود صرف اس کے خیال اور خوف میں تھا، اس کے پیٹ کا درد بھی فوراً ختم ہو گیا۔
یہ واقعہ ہمیں سکھاتا ہے کہ وہم اور منفی خیالات انسان کے جسم و ذہن پر گہرا اثر ڈال سکتے ہیں۔ بعض اوقات جن پریشانیوں کو ہم حقیقت سمجھ بیٹھتے ہیں، وہ صرف ہمارے ذہن کی پیداوار ہوتی ہیں۔
اسی لیے ابنِ سینا کا یہ قول آج بھی رہنمائی کرتا ہے:
"وہم آدھا مرض ہے، اطمینان آدھی دوا ہے، اور صبر و یقین شفا کی پہلی سیڑھی ہیں۔"

نسلوں کا مستقبل کس کے ہاتھ میں ہے؟

پاکستان کا سب سے بڑا مسئلہ صرف معاشی نہیں، بلکہ معاشرتی بقا کا ہے۔ روایت اور جدیدیت کے بیچ میں ہم ایک ایسے دوراہے پر کھڑے ہیں جہاں کوئی سمت واضح نہیں۔

سوشل میڈیا نے دنیا کو قریب ضرور کیا ہے، مگر خطرہ یہ ہے کہ اس نے گھر اور ذہن کے بیچ کی دیواریں بھی گرا دی ہیں۔ بچوں کی خواہشیں اب والدین نہیں بناتے بلکہ الگورتھم بناتے ہیں۔

فحاشی کا مسئلہ محض لباس یا رویے کا نہیں — یہ نیت، خواہش اور ترجیحات کا بگاڑ ہے۔ مشہور ہونے کی دوڑ نے کردار اور علم کو پیچھے دھکیل دیا ہے۔ مقصد بدل گیا ہے: پہلے کامیاب ہونا تھا، اب نظر آنا ہے۔

نسلوں کو بچانے کیلئے پہلی جنگ تربیت کی جنگ ہے۔ تربیت گھر سے شروع ہوتی ہے اور معاشرے میں مکمل ہوتی ہے۔ نظام کی اصلاح وہاں سے نہیں آتی جہاں قانون بنتا ہے بلکہ وہاں سے جہاں بچوں کی شخصیت بنتی ہے۔

حل پابندیوں میں نہیں — اقدار میں ہے۔ پابندی صرف روک سکتی ہے، مگر تربیت راستہ دکھاتی ہے۔ سوشل میڈیا کو بند نہیں کرنا، سمجھنا ہے۔ بچوں کو چھپانا نہیں، تیار کرنا ہے۔

ریاست کی ذمہ داری بقا، معاشرے کی ذمہ داری کردار، اور والدین کی ذمہ داری حد بندی ہے۔ جب یہ تینوں ذمہ داریاں ایک لائن میں آ جائیں تو نسلیں محفوظ ہوتی ہیں۔

قومیں ٹیکنالوجی سے نہیں ٹوٹتیں — اقدار کے زوال سے ٹوٹتی ہیں۔ اور قومیں دولت سے نہیں بنتیں کردار سے بنتی ہیں۔

اب سوال یہ ہے کہ ہم اپنی آنے والی نسل کے لیے کیا چھوڑ رہے ہیں:
دنیا؟ یا دلیل + تربیت + شناخت؟

یہ فیصلہ کسی حکومت یا ادارے کا نہیں ہم سب کا ہے۔
