I have witnessed many Botany professors involved in plantation work alongside their non-teaching staff, even in the rain. However, the level of passion Professor Yasmin Shar shows for her department and the college garden is truly unprecedented. Despite the heavy rains and the college being officially closed, she visits personally to care for the plants and the campus infrastructure.

Kashmir Solidarity Day has been organized by Govt Girls Degree College Matiari today in the presence of the Principal Yasmin Shar baloch, all worthy staff members and the most talented students.
Ms.Aasfa Sheikh assistant professor of Pakistan studies and students delivered speech on Kashmiris struggle, sacrifices and pathetic situation. Students participated with full zeal for showing the current situation of Kashmir. In the end rally was hosted by the principal, students and all staff members to show the solidarity with Kashmir.
