Fund raising for student scholarships

The fee in public sector universities varies from 25-45 K per semester. If you add other expenses such as books, accommodation, food and conveyance, the expenditures can easily swell up to 20-25K per month. There are many capable students who are facing financial hardships and struggling to continue their studies.
Presently our students at AWKUM get support from
• HEC need based Scholarships
• Frontier Education Foundation
• Pakistan Baitulmal
• MORA
However, the number of donors are very limited to ensure financial aid for all deserving and we need to look for more scholarships focusing on low income students. If you or any of your friends know about institution/organisations/individuals who support needy students, enabling them to complete their higher studies, please share details.
You are also welcome to share any ideas that can help us support the financially disadvantaged students.
