ہسپتال کی او پی ڈی میں ایک مشکوک شخص کو سیکیورٹی کارڈ نے روکا جو کہ بظاہر ذہنی طور ٹھیک نہیں تھا۔اس کے پاس مشکوک بیگ تھا جس کی تلاشی دینے سے اس نے انکار کردیا اور سیکیورٹی کارڈ کے ساتھ ہاتھاپائی اور بھاگنے کی کوشش کی۔ موقع پر موجود سیکیورٹی اہلکار نے اسے دبوچ لیا اور پولیس کے حوالے کردیا۔مشکوک شخص کی مکمل تلاشی لی گئی لیکن اس سے کسی قسم کی مشکوک چیز نہیں ملی۔ ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر بریگیڈیئر ریٹائرڈ ڈاکٹر محمد ابرار خان, نرسنگ ڈائریکٹر نور زادہ اور میڈیکل ڈائریکٹر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد سید نے او پی ڈی کا دورہ کیا اور حالات کا جائزہ لیا اور سیکیورٹی انتظامات پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔

عابد خان کا تعلق ضلع باجوڑ، تحصیل سلارزئی کے گاؤں لرا ڈاگئی سے ہے، جنہوں نے ہمیشہ مریضوں کی خدمت، معیاری صحت کی فراہمی اور بہترین نگہداشت کو اپنی اولین ترجیح بنایا۔ ان کی محنت، لگن، اخلاق اور پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتیں نوجوان نرسنگ کمیونٹی کے لیے ایک بہترین مثال ہیں۔

Event organized to mark International Nurses Day

A cake cutting ceremony was organized in the Haider Hall in connection with the International Nurses Day.

The event was organized to highlight and mark the contribution of nurses they make to healthcare system and the society.

The event brought together hospital leadership, nursing faculty and frontline healthcare staff to recognize the professionals who serve as the backbone of patient care.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Hospital Director MMC Brig (Retd) Dr. Muhammad Abrar Khan, Medical Director Prof. Dr. Muhammad Said, Acting Nursing Director Mr. Noor Zada, Principal CNM Prof. Dr. Shaeir khan, Ex-Member of Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery council and Patron in chief YNA Kp Mr. Fazle Maula , Manager Administration and Facility Dr. Rohail Hayat, Principal of Govt Nursing College Mardan Mrs. Nazia and Manager IT Mohsin Ali, alongside various nursing in-charges, Registered Nurse Officers, Trainee Nurse officers and student Nurses .

Addressing the gathering, Acting Nursing Director Noor Zada said that the day serves as a global tribute to the nursing workforce. He said that nursing day is celebrated on the birthday of Florence Nightingale (May 12, 1820 – August 13, 1910). He said that Florence Nightingale was a celebrated social reformer and the founder of modern nursing and became known while taking care of the wounded soldiers during the Crimean War.

Noor Zada described nurses as the silent strength of the healthcare system, noting that their commitment to serving ailing humanity is a noble calling of immense importance.

Medical Director Prof. Dr. Muhammad Said reflected on the historical roots of the profession, reminding the audience that the tradition of nursing is deeply embedded in Islamic history, where women played a crucial role in caring for the injured during wartime.

He encouraged the staff to view their service through a spiritual lens, seeking excellence in their duties for the reward of the hereafter. Prof. Dr Muhammad Said also commended the MMC nursing staff for their consistent punctuality and strict adherence to professional dress codes.

Hospital Director Brig (Retd) Dr. Muhammad Abrar Khan spoke on the critical impact of soft skills in clinical settings. He highlighted that the attitude of a nurse represents the public face of a healthcare facility.

The HD remarked that while technical skill is essential, a humble and polite demeanor is what truly leaves a lasting impression on patients. He urged the nursing staff to maintain a compassionate and patient-centric approach in all their interactions.

The event concluded with the ceremonial slicing of the cake by the guests of honor. In a gesture of appreciation for excellence in service and organization, shields and certificates were distributed to the event organizers and the best-performing Nurse Officers, marking a successful celebration of the profession’s enduring legacy.

بریگیڈیئر ریٹائرڈ ڈاکٹر محمد ابرار خان کو مردان میڈیکل کمپلیکس کا ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر تعینات کردیا گیا۔

ان کی تعیناتی کا باقائدہ نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا گیا۔ نو تعینات ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر بریگیڈیئر ریٹائرڈ ڈاکٹر محمد ابرار خان نے آپنے عہدے کا چارج سنبھال لیا۔ ہسپتال انتظامیہ اور عملے کے ارکان نے نئے تعینات ہونے والے ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر کے ہسپتال آمد پر ان کا استقبال کیا اور ان کو مبارکباد پیش کی۔ ہسپتال عملے نے نئے تعینات ہونے والے ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر کیلئے نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا اور امید ظاہر کی کہ وہ انتظامی امور میں اپنے وسیع تجربے اور پوری صلاحیتوں کو بروئے کار لاکر ہسپتال کو نئی بلندیوں تک پہنچائیں گے۔ نو تعینات ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر بریگیڈیئر ریٹائرڈ ڈاکٹر محمد ابرار خان نے مبارکباد کیلئے آنے والوں کا شکریہ اداء کیا اور ان اپنی تمام صلاحیتوں کو بروئے کار لاکر ہسپتال کو جدید خطوط پر استوار کرنے اور بہترین طبی ادارہ بنانے کے عظم کا اظہار کیا۔

A formal meeting was held between the delegation of the Young Nurses Association Mardan and the Acting Nursing Director, Mr. Noorzada. During the meeting, the following points were discussed:

- Welcome and congratulations on assuming charge.
- Exchange policy and duty cover arrangements continuation.
- Leave policy and clarification of duty hours/shifts.
- Trainings and workshops for Training Nurse Officers (TNOs) and Registered Nurse Officers (RNOs)
- Preceptorship programs for TNOs.
- Probation confirmation process for new RNOs.
- Advertisement of new posts for male RN officers.
- Contract renewal for female nurse officers.
- Hostel accommodation issues for male and female nurses as well for Married RNOs belongs to Far districts.
- Annual leave entitlements and procedures
- Gratuity policy, including for those unable to avail it and Grand Nurses Convention.

Acting Nursing Director Mr. Noorzada assured his continuous administrative support and commitment to addressing all points raised for the betterment of Nurse Officers and Patients' services.

کالج آف نرسنگ، باچا خان میڈیکل کالج مردان میں فال سیشن 2025 کے لیے نئے منتخب طلبہ و طالبات کے اعزاز میں ایک جامع اورینٹیشن سیشن کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ اس سیشن کا بنیادی مقصد نئے طلبہ کو کالج کے تعلیمی ماحول، نظامِ تعلیم، قواعد و ضوابط، دستیاب سہولیات اور فیکلٹی ممبران سے متعارف کرانا تھا تاکہ وہ اپنی تعلیمی زندگی کا پُراعتماد اور مؤثر آغاز کر سکیں۔

تقریب میں ڈین/سی ای او باچا خان میڈیکل کالج پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد احمد، ایسوسی ایٹ ڈین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر معتصم باللہ، پرنسپل کالج آف نرسنگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شاعر خان، وائس پرنسپل ایسوسیٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید بابر علی، کالج آف میڈیکل ٹیکنالوجی کے پرنسپل ڈاکٹر ناصر علی کے علاوہ کالج کے دیگر فیکلٹی ممبران نے بھی شرکت کی۔

مقررین نے طلبہ کو نصابی و ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں، پروفیشنل اخلاقیات، لیبارٹری پریکٹسز، تعلیمی نظم و ضبط اور مستقبل کے پیشہ ورانہ تقاضوں کے حوالے سے تفصیلی آگاہی فراہم کی۔ انہوں نے طلبہ کو تلقین کی کہ وہ محنت، لگن اور دیانت داری کے ساتھ اپنی تعلیم مکمل کریں اور مستقبل میں ملک و قوم کی خدمت کے لیے خود کو تیار کریں۔

آخر میں کالج انتظامیہ کی جانب سے نئے طلبہ و طالبات کے لیے نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا گیا اور اس امید کا اظہار کیا گیا کہ وہ اپنے منتخب شعبے میں نمایاں کامیابیاں حاصل کریں گے اور ادارے کا نام روشن کریں گے۔
