A few days back 100 students of Bacha Khan Medical college Mardan paid a visit to CSH. They were divided in to 4 groups for visiting classes and the different sections. All students took s lot of interest in functioning of the school snd distributed small gift at the end.The next day the same number of students of Bacha Khan Nursing College also visited who were shown around d similarly by CSH senior Staff.

On Saturday 16th May Students had a trip to a Family Park in Charsada which they all enjoyed to the full.

Mian Rehman ud Din, accounts officer and one of the two oldest employees of the Centre requested for retirement due to old age and ill health. A warm send off was organized by the BOD when golden words of praise were showered on him by almost all present.In view of his honesty and dedication to his job his absence will be greatly felt.However, he promised to offer his services and vaualble council when ever needed. It turned in to a solemn occasion when he was garlanded and some members got tears in their eyes.

On 4th March 2026 a team of Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation visited CSH to meet and interract with the Students. They stayed for a considerably long time to communicate to the children awareness about their right and privileges in the society. The Students expressed their thanks and appreciation for their concerns about their well fare. They also informed about their skills program where admissions were open currently.
The head of the team distributed Eid gifts among the senior girls at the end of their visit.

Kashmir Day was observed at the school premises a day before closure of school for Kashmir day.A good number of Students came to school wearing Kashmiri Costumes. In the assembly the children were explained the Kashmir cause. They were also shown clips of the struggle for their independence on televisions in different classes.It was ensured that all Students understood the problems of Kashmiri citizens under occupation by India.

On 16th of January 2026 fifteen wheel chairs were distributed among the physically challenged children and adults through facilitation of the senior staff of CSH, Mardan KPK, at its premises.These were Donated by,
World Wide Cables
And Team dreams
The disabled people make these wheel chairs by themselves.
A link between SCH and the donors is Miss Sara Hamid whose sincere services and hard work to bring donors and beneficiaries together by networking with other NGOs as well made the distribution very transparent and reassuring for the donors.The following pictures speak for themselves.

The Centre’s Senior members of EC,the founding members Mr.and Mrs.Farooq, Director Mr.Anwar and Finance secretary Salman Khan Toru welcomed MPA Mr.Zahir Shah Toru on the occasion of handing over of two cheques worth Rs.24.5 million from the provincial department of Social Welfare on 10th December 2025.
After the ceremony a collective dua was offered for progress and expansion of the Centre to continue with its services and support to Special Needs Children of Mardan and the surrounding rural areas.

The Annual Prize Distribution Day was observed on 29th November 2025 a few days ahead of the International Day for the Disabled.Due to unavoidable reasons both the events could not coincide.
As usual the proceedings started with arrival of the Chief Guest, this time Mrs.Shaheen Saif Ullah,a former MNA of PTI and an active fund raiser for CSH.
The group of Students who had good hearing(with hearing aids) and speaking capabilities offered the National Anthem. This was followed by a parade and salami to the guests by the students dressed smartly in white and blue sports uniforms.A PT Display by girl Students greatly impressed the audience because of their perfect timings and synchronized steps. Then was time for some brief but interesting competitions by the Students of Nursery Section.The event came to an end with the routine rope pulling competition by the Senior boy Students.
The Director Mr.Anwar Khan offered thanks to the guests while the former Director Mrs.Shakila Farooq specially thanked mothers for their regular attendance.She also imparted a few words of advice and special focus on encouragement of their children in their home environment.

The second day of the Sports Gala was equally exciting. CSH Students won the cricket match against the Royal Grammar School, Mardan by a big margin.
