st background laid the foundation of Tameer-i-Nau Public School to provide high quality education to the students. The aim was to render education irrespective of the class and creed. It was a part and parcel of the great step initiated by Ghulam Rabbani Khan who was a renowned educationist of his time and the pioneer of private schools in Mansehra. Being a visionary himself, he aspired to educate each and every child of the area which was necessary to bring about socio-economic growth. Initially started as a middle school in a small rented building, it was gradually upgraded to matric level and then to a Girls College. The school was shifted in its own building in 1984 which is located in easily accessible area of Dab No. 2. Initially the building comprised of only one block, but now two more blocks have been added to provide state of the art academic facilities. Over the years the school has proved itself to be one of the best educational institutions in the region. Not only it provides quality education, but also caters to the personal, religious, and social aspects of a child’s development. It has been producing excellent results in board examinations since its establishment. It is the only institution in the region which has always produced 100% results. Students of the institute have been grabbing top positions in SSC and HSSC examinations. The passed out students are granted admission in top professional colleges of the country as well as abroad.
